Yep, the audio and the mobile key are the two biggest disappointments I have in an otherwise awesome car. I'm the opposite of an audiophile (think Vizio sound bars, never opted for the upgraded audio system in any of my cars), but I just couldn't believe how "tinny" the sound was, it was almost...
Aaaannd I just tried the key fob the entire day today, first time using it since delivery. It works flawlessly at detecting I'm there very quickly with zero wait time (I do keyless entry pressing the door handle to unlock - no passive unlock). So keyfob working great, mobile key not waking up...
The app too! My app shows a glass roof and two toned car when I have a metal roof pure. Little details that make it special. But maybe after fixing all the real bugs and feature requests :)
Yes sound is terrible. Also just got my pure last week. There was another thread somewhere that said move the balance to the back because the front speakers are being suppressed even if balance is in the middle. It made it better but still below average but coming from horrible / worse than my...
Just preferences I think, plus some prefer summer tires for better traction. I've never been a tire/wheel guy and personally don't understand the nuance of why bigger rims look nicer, as it's not true for me.
I have a pure with DD premium. I don't have some of the cameras and hardware needed for highway assist features so can never activate them in the future.
Unfortunately that didn't fix it. All my settings are now maxing out the app permissions and battery. I still have to open the app to wake the vehicle up before mobile key works. Without doing that, I've waited up to a minute and it doesn't work.
Just found out now my lucid app on my phone is under "optimized" battery, made it unrestricted and will see tomorrow if it's more instantaneous... every other setting seems maxed out in terms of permissions (location all the time, etc).
This change seemed to fix my mobile key issues on my...
Ordinarily I'd be wary of living so far from service center. But it seems like you have enough extra cars to tide you through in case something happens and there's a service delay due to the distance. It's an awesome car is all I can say :)
BofA only handles the backend credit checks. Lucid determines the rates (I fully suspect they front the financing/lease - there's a "TryOn financial" that's officially the lessor which I suspect is also Lucid - it's that bad 😁). Your delivery advisor will have all the numbers for you to explore...
For the individual owner yes it's subjective. But for comparables and market it can be objective, evidenced by the lack of demand. I still think they priced the higher trims too high, as it's a very very very good car. I'm not saying the GT is a bad car, in fact I wish I could afford it (even at...
Could it be better? YES. Is it unfortunately the norm now, yes also. You should see the waits on the Taycan forums.. Agree that we should still demand better from Lucid.
I wonder if these autonomous systems are developed in-house or are bought (licensed) from other companies who specialize in it. If it's developed in-house, I have low confidence Lucid will get it right given how small a manufacturer it is.
