Just checked. Mine is the same on both sides and fairly firm. If i push hard with a finger itll temporarily move a little as if its mounted on some gasket or rubbery pad.

I already tried that and cant hit the brake fast enough and the car moves too far. I have 13 size hiking shoes and it cant be moved from accelerator directly sideway to the brake pedal but gets stuck in something under the panel so have to first move the leg back and then side ways. I rent cars...

Aggre, and like ice. Backing out of garage and parking stalls is tedious. My safest method is short on/off with the accelerator. To go into menues for creep mode or otherwise is way too much hassle.

I bought a three button garage door remote and clipped on sun visor -- both for yout problem and also for my agt is going to the servicer because homelink doesnt work.

Especially for garage and parking lots and especially for backing i strongly prefer it be similar to ice with automatic and could be as one custom setting. Brake, put in reverse, and now by means of release the pressure on the brake pedal regulate speed. You get much better resolution this way...

My service center offered to reimburse for all my ea purchases by credit card .. just send receipt or card statement. However, i declined due to too much hassle. I did ea just for testing purposes and likely spent less than $50 over two weeks ive had tbe car.

I had same problem. I had the delivery person with me for four hours including going to ea. Free charging never worked... crefit card always worked. After two weeks, free charging started to work. Just plug in the cable and click continue on the pump snd nothong else and charging starts...

No, actually smooth. Accelerator is too jerky. Amost hit someone in front of me on the on-ramp a few times.

I think smooth is too fast, or perhaps limited accelerator resolution, for rapid lane changes on busy roads or on on-ramp trying to merge. Too easy to run into someone.

Im 6'5" and not being able to put the steering wheel further out for comprtable ride i deem is the greatest disadvantage for tall drivers. Id need another 3"out for comfort.
