Probably. I am just reporting what I was told, but it seems logical that would be the case.

For what it's worth... I asked the Scottsdale Service Center about this in early January. Shortly thereafter, I was told that they had looked into my question, and found that cars built before 4/15/24 are not eligible for updated parts. I wouldn't take it as gospel, but that's what I was told.

I just did a quick search for the following video I recalled from back in 2015, where hackers were able to remotely disable the brakes on a Jeep Cherokee. Imagine the potential for havoc with anyone having access like that...

It would be nice if the Lucid API would be able to report total kWh added (regardless of source) over a set period of elapsed time or miles (or even just over the life of the car); ideally along with both total miles/kWh and trip miles/kWh. Perhaps these data are tracked but just not reported...

The article is not very clearly worded IMO, but seems to suggest that not all Lucid models have access to these features. Does anyone know the details on that?

What was the speed limited to, and how quickly does it happen? By that, I mean does it aggressively apply the brakes, or does it go down gradually enough to safely get out of the flow of traffic?

Actually, these were positioned as enhancements to the Air, and many of them already have been delivered. Relative to commitments made, I think that some (like the dash cam) are bonus features. There are other Gravity enhancements that we can hope will come to the Air.

Whether it's a refrigerator, car or whatever, I'm very happy to see a manufacturer offer a reasonably priced extended warranty. I seldom buy them, but I take great comfort in the fact that they expect to make a tidy profit at the offered price.
