Ok, what's the deal with aftermarket wheels and "hub centricity"?

Hmm yea flow-formed would be acceptable, as long as the load ratings and everything are ok.

Out of Spec Podcast on Gravity Charging Performance

Also...does 16 modules out of 22 mean the Touring will have an EPA rating of 320 miles? 16/22 * 440?

Ok, what's the deal with aftermarket wheels and "hub centricity"?

He's in Canada. But technically $8k Canadian is only $5500 USD, so it's even cheaper there 😂

Ok, what's the deal with aftermarket wheels and "hub centricity"?

I believe this is just a titanium looking finish. The wheels are still just basic cast alloy. Have you ever used $150 wheels before on your other cars and EVs?

Surreal Sound vs Surreal Sound Pro on simple BT streaming

Since we're just speculating on Gravity...just because you're listening to BT doesn't mean you won't benefit from a higher end sound system. But it depends on the fidelity of your ears, and how much you really care. That being said, I do agree with you that SSP in the Air has been a little...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I'd say that's not a reasonable conclusion. Retrofitting all the cameras and sensors in a car that doesn't have them would be a cost-prohibitive task. Why would you lead someone down a rabbit hole that they have the processing power for HA, they just need to go install some cameras? Obviously...

Ok, what's the deal with aftermarket wheels and "hub centricity"?

Please Don't buy these kind of wheels...these are very low quality cast alloys. They can be destroyed easily by potholes and cracks in the road. Ideally you want something forged. Quality Forged wheels start around $3k/set

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

So 200 miles in 12 minutes means 45%. Which out of a 123kwh battery means 55kwh in 12 minutes. This means an average rate of 275kw/hr. Instead say you have a flat line of 225kw instead, that would take 14.5 minutes. So it’s 2.5 minutes faster at 1000V charger compared to a 500V charger.

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

Unless Lucid has changed the charge curve, I imagine the difference between 400kw and 225 will only be in the first 10-20%. Maybe not a huge difference. But I agree…if Lucid has improved the curve to hold 300+kw past just an initial spike, that would be awesome

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

Issue with adapters is that they are constantly getting recalled. I imagine eventually they will mature to the point of being ok, but yea…I would prefer to have a native mechanism without risking putting my car on fire. But that’s just me!

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

Yup true. But The consensus from most people was that Tesla would not grant Lucid access in time to Superchargers so the Gravity would have never forced to use an adapter at CCS chargers. That would’ve been insanity if it happened

Lucid Gravity gaining access to Supercharger network, Air access planned for Q2 2025

Like I’ve been saying for months! Gravity would launch with NACS access 🙌. Way to scare me into thinking we’d all be living in adapter-hell guys 😂😂

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

Lol, I know you’re quite quick to post how your car is perfect and has amazing range and no issues and trust me I get it. You just picked up your car…you’re still in that honeymoon phase. Once you’ve owned and had your car for a few months and few thousand miles, and given your partner and/or...

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

i think the difference is that yes, for other makes it's possible that if you have a super old phone...or you have messed up your settings...then yes phone as a key can not perform as expected. The difference is that phone as a key doesn't work consistently for most Lucid owners. Not working is...

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

And this is from pre ios18, so that has nothing to do with your point either. Sure it was buggy 3 years ago. They've released like 17 updates since then to continuously improve the performance of PAAK. I want to see Lucid do the same

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

lol that's just troubleshooting steps...you don't need to take your phone out of your pocket for it to unlock.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

This is not an Apple "feature" on Teslas and Rivians and other cars with mobile key...somehow Lucid seems to not be able to deal with this correctly.

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

Yep agreed. There shouldn’t be all these unexplained variables. But hopefully something lucid will address over time if they ever decide to take the Air’s software seriously. I’m hoping they don’t just dump it when the Gravity comes out.
