    My 2.5 cents. If you can wait 18-24 months to buy an EV, then I think that you will have more choices with better motors and batteries than the current offerings, from all vendors. Also, by then Lucid should have newer models.

    RESOLVED Is motor whine normal?

    I watched this Muro Live video on the Lucid rear drive motor and am speculating that having the deferential inside the motor and pre-reduction gear is the source of the whine. I don't care for the motor whine but mostly notice it when I drive my wire's EQS, which doesn't have much if any.

    I had the plastic trim piece at the bottom of the door break the first time I left the car in the sun on a hot day in Houston and opened the back door. Service took care of it and it hasn't happened again.

    The Mercedes EQS has no protruding antennas and still has great radio and satellite reception so it can be done.
