I really hope that isn’t the case for me too. It’s annoying enough first thing in the morning. Only other thing I can think of is there’s some other fault that the boot up process is more sensitive too now in 2.6.16. May need to get service to look at it. Will text them on Monday.

Yeah my sense is that the code running in the main cockpit screen is stuck in some loop attempting to wake up. Even the reboot process looks weird when it’s in that state. I haven’t waited the few minutes that some have done, to see if it eventually clears. I did exit the vehicle the first time...

@marqie do you know if Lucid is aware of this issue? I’m needing to reboot my car after every time I charge, to drive. The main cockpit is completely unresponsive and won’t go in to drive. This exact same thing happened to me this morning after unplugging. I exited the vehicle and then the cockpit crashed and rebooted and then I was fine.

Will give it a go and report back.

I think that's right. Its quieter with less throttle as far as I can tell.

Yeah I wondered if the reset via the steering wheel and the reset via the logo were one and the same. Either way, the leaving the vehicle and coming back later didn't fix it and the logo reset didn't either, but the last reset for the steering wheel did, which may have just been a coincidence.

A few of us are now seeing this with 2.6.16. For me it had been raining heavily on the highway and when I got to my destination and went in to reverse it appeared. Wondering if the sensors on the back were affected by dirt. Got back home and soft reset and still had the error. 10min later went...

Want to clarify the message I was seeing was “Rear Emergency Braking Unavailable” which appeared a few days after I had upgraded and when I went in to reverse. Message also appeared in the Dream Drive settings half way down.

Did you need to do a reset or did it just disappear after a few drives ?

Got back to the car a few hours later and the warning was still there when I put it in to reverse. A soft reset didn’t clear it but a hard reset did. Seems to have gone now. Hopefully never to return. :)

I too just got the Emergency Parking Brake Unavailable message just now. @marqie is this a bug in the release or something I should be concerned about. Had no warnings before the update.
