In previous leases I've found that most "Fees" were forgiven if you took a new lease out. Even over mileage etc. was forgiven. I wonder how flexible Lucid is.

What options did your sales advisor offer? I presume it included jumping. in to another lease?

Yeah I believe the latest SW detects more anomalies so I wonder if that process is taking too long sometimes and locking the cockpit screen. Not sure why charging makes that worse.

So the cockpit is definitely hung for a while when you can’t go in to Drive. I typically exit the vehicle and lock it, wait a few seconds and then unlock it and I’ve noticed a couple of things 1. Sometimes the left two cockpit screens stay on longer then the rest of the screens after locking...

A little concerning that they don’t know why it’s happening or the common denominator. That suggest the fix is a “spaghetti against the wall” fix.

I'm not entirely sure I agree with you borski. At least for those ICE vehicles, in an emergency (what ever that is) you could move the vehicle (think parked next to a car with a fire etc.). With this you can't move the vehicle until it's ready, period.

So, so far everyone that has replied that has this issue has DD Premium.

Do any of you that have this issue have Dream Drive Pro ? Wondering if this is a DD Premium issue only. My concern is that given this is affecting a relatively small population of the Air community that it’s low on their priority, much like the Soft Door bug that I mentioned earlier.

Really disappointing that we’ve not seen a fix yet and for a $85k car it’s unacceptable to have this behavior. My real fear now is this time next year we’ll still have this issue and it will be forgotten just like the soft close door fisaco. This is the first time I’ve really started to have...

This issue is really getting annoying. Sure hope it’s not going to take as long as the soft door bug that’s still waiting for a fix from last year.

Yup I have to do the lock, stand out side and look stupid, and then get back in dance too.

Oh wow. Yeah that's bad. It only happens to me if the car has been sitting for an extended period of time. And that mostly is when its been charging

In the instances when it happens to you when NOT charging, has the car been sitting parked for a long time (for most of the day for example) ?

This. I mostly see it after charging but have seen it after parked for quite a while but NOT charging. Seems to be a deep sleep/wake up issue.

It's possibly the steering wheel airbag moving. Next time try holding the airbag as you turn. Mine in warm weather has some "play" and will move/knock when making junction turns.

For me it's when the car goes in to deep sleep, mostly after its been charging overnight.
