Photos (or Video) of the 5-Seat Gravity Cargo Area?

I'd hope that Lucid would at least have an optional accessory to provide a flat floor in the 5 seat configuration. If not, I'd probably fabricate one for myself. Maybe I should start a small side-line business of manufacturing them with my CNC router in the workshop. 🤣

    Gravity accessories slowly appearing

Sorry, I just meant in general. I ship and receive a lot of things for work.

Photos (or Video) of the 5-Seat Gravity Cargo Area?

That matches my memory of what the studio Gravity in the Millbrae location looks like (including seating color). Is this a photo of a different vehicle, or that same one?

Wheel size data: 22” to start us off

Since the wheel is attached by the bolt circle, I'm assuming the offset manifests as some difference in the bolt hole depth from whatever arbitrary depth is considered the standard?

Wheel size data: 22” to start us off

I don't know anything about car wheels. What's the offset measurement? I'm guessing it's something like millimeters of lateral thickness at the bolt circle?

    Gravity accessories slowly appearing

I've used both, extensively. I don't consider one to be clearly superior to the other in all circumstances. They both go through periods of delays and poor service, and they both seem to have locales where they're particularly unreliable. My experience with individual employees is that they...

    Gravity test drives?

I just received an email that Rocklin has a test drive vehicle.

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

For $300K, I'll wait to see what the specs are for the Gravity Sapphire. 🤣

Photos (or Video) of the 5-Seat Gravity Cargo Area?

Add me to the list of people who're highly interested. The only "5 seater" I've seen was the showroom model in the Millbrae studio, and it is quite obviously not a production vehicle.

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

Obviously a huge part of vehicle sales are about appealing to the buyer's sense of who they are, or perhaps who they'd like to be. But at the same time, a use case someone does only occasionally can genuinely matter to people. Someone might only get one vacation a year where they go...

Gravity Dream Edition "gift box" deliveries?

If there's a pencil, then I expect it to be an Uni Kuru Toga Dive mechanical pencil that rotates the lead as you write, to keep it sharp, and auto extends the lead to keep you from having to do so manually. That's the kind of "no compromises" pencil engineering that would align well with...

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

I agree, the short nose makes a big part of the difference. And I think the short nose is also what causes some to say they don't like the Gravity because it looks too much like a minivan. While I personally think the Gravity looks fine, I'd also have to say that the design really serves the...

The Naming of Cars is a difficult matter,

Many years ago, a friend moved to Japan for a job. She was hired as a native English speaker to edit the English phrases that were widely used in Japanese marketing. To her surprise, her corrections were often rejected. Not because they didn't trust her English, but rather just because...

    Gravity Front Windshield tint

Wait, it wouldn't even work when putting it on the outside of the windshield?!? That seems pretty surprising.

    Gravity Plan B

I like a lot about the iX as well. The maximum EPA range of 324 miles put me off a bit, as I like long road trips, and want to have plenty of range to allow flexible route planning. I do see that Car and Driver said they got 290 miles out of one on their 75 mph range test, which was less of a...

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

It's a shame so many are down on sliding doors. It seems to be an American thing (maybe European also). Whenever I travel to Japan, I'm struck by all the great vehicles they have with sliding doors. Particularly in crowded urban environments, they make accessing the interior much easier.

    Gravity Plan B

I agree that a R1S is a top "plan B" choice. Personally, I put almost no value on the (impressive) off-road capability, which is one of the prime reasons I'm holding out for a Gravity.

    Gravity Plan B

I just meant the high depreciation one sees in the first years of a new vehicle.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I think about it this way: I don't think Lucid will feel any obligation to step in for the government's tax credit. But, we've certainly seen a history with the Air of them massaging pricing to goose demand for the vehicle. Probably this year they don't need to do that, but I assume that...

    Gravity Dream Edition Performance

I'm not really a car performance nerd, so I'm not sure how to properly interpret the data. But I'm curious, the Hagerty drag race video said the Gravity really kicked in after 60 MPH. Do you see that in the draggy data? I'm unsure if what Hagerty was really saying is just that the R1S tapered...
