nope... that's a big problem with lease extensions. had i gone with a longer lease to begin with, my payments would have been less. Lease extension for Lucid is an easy decision - they're getting more every month from me than the vehicle is losing in depreciation... and they delay yet another...

Yes, you are correct. But the person quoted was discussing this in a "buy it outright for cash" scenario, so the tax credit wouldn't apply.

I was in the exact same spot... complete run-around trying to get the car inspected for a lease-end return. Oddly enough, when i decided to ask for a 3-month extension, they quickly handled that request and put in place for me. Maybe the gravity will be ready when the extended lease is up.
