Yep, that works as normal and responds to traffic in front. Drive Assist performs similar to ACC currently, but the lane centering does not engage.

I'm running into the same issue. Drive Assist will engage, but lane centering is not active. Car will drift until lane crossing warning occurs and corrects, but just slowly drives the car into the other lane. Like a bowling ball bouncing between bumpers. The Drive Assist (steering wheel) icon...
