    Tesla supercharging working today?

I think the "inactive" notice just means that Plug n Charge isn't working quite yet. It doesn't means that charging on superchargers is inactive. It means (in my experience) that you have to start the charge through Lucid's app, or Tesla's app.

How to initiate Supercharging using Lucid's phone app?

I'm accustomed to using the Tesla app for our Volvo and maybe was trying to use Lucid's app in the same way. I never noticed any charging controls on the home page of Lucid's app, not sure when something should appear.

How to initiate Supercharging using Lucid's phone app?

On the page that lists the charging station availability for the Supercharger location I was at. I tried tapping the charging stall ID that I was using, both before and after plugging in the car:

    Tesla supercharging working today?

I used our Volvo's adapter. 42kW (about 3 miles per minute) is the Air's limit on 450V V3 and V3.5 superchargers. The Air will charge at full rated speed on future 1000V V4 superchargers and other 1000V NACS charging stations. They're coming.

How to initiate Supercharging using Lucid's phone app?

I was able to charge my Air at a Supercharger today, but only by initiating the charge using Tesla's phone app. Lucid's email says: "Start charging: Initiate your charging session via the Lucid mobile app (the Plug & Charge feature is not currently available for Lucid Air at Tesla charging...

    Tesla supercharging working today?

I was able to charge my Air at a 32-stall 250kW supercharger location today. It didn't work when i tried it at the same site a couple months ago. I couldn't figure out how to initiate the charge using Lucid's phone app, so I used Tesla's app, which worked fine. Had to parallel-park for the cable...

    2.8.0 Software Update

So we're on day one of a minimum 2-3 week rollout, and people are complaining about Lucid missing dates. Sounds about right.

    Total electrical failure

Also, in any car, you may not be able to open the door after a major accident due to sheet metal damage. Many carry a small glass-breaking "escape" tool in the car for this reason.

    Charge Limit

EV batteries lose some energy capacity with time and use. Your car periodically re-evaluates the capacity of its battery. It has estimated that your battery holds about 499/516 of its original capacity, or about 97%. This capacity estimate is just that, an estimate. This estimate may go down...

    Touring vs GT

Same here. A family friend, who is not at all into cars, spontaneously mentioned that my GT is the most comfortable car she had ever been in.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

I wish you a speedy update, but as I am both special and very impatient, I think my OTA should arrive first.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

Bigger releases tend to roll out slower. Occasionally a bug is found that pauses the rollout until a fix is made. All very normal.

Yay, Tesla charging … July 31!

If it's a quality adapter rated at 500A and 1000V, it should work without issue. I'd be comfortable using an adapter from Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, Ford, Lectron, A2Z, but not from Hyundai /Kia, nor one of the hundreds of no-name adapters on Amazon and eBay.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

Sometimes things happen when you roll out software to tens of thousands of cars. Lucid usually releases a given OTA over a two-week period to catch rare issues as early as possible. Every Air will get this release, whether or not hands-free driving is relevant to the car.

My first week with my Gravity Dream Edition

You'll get used to just walking away from the locked EV, trusting it to fully shut down. This later becomes an issue when renting a gas car. You'll walk away from it with the engine still running.

Y'all remember that updates are rolled out over about a two week period, best case?
