    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Replying to myself... My wife, Tonya, had a test drive in the GGT from 1-2pm today. Weather was overcast with light sprinkles. She saw the blue wispy HUD artifact. For her, sun angle didn't seem to change it--but the sun was higher in the sky and it was overcast. Also, turning off the HUD had no...

The Naming of Cars is a difficult matter,

It took a long time, but my X became Elextra. My wife's Mustang Mach-E GT Performance in Carbonized Grey is named Stormy.

It's also probably why they have unmatched GGT VINs...they are producing what they have parts for. Thank you!

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Had a test drive today at Scottsdale. Great drive. Took a nice twisty residential street at only a little over--30-35 in 25 mph zone. Missed a turn and SA suggested doing a U-turn. We were all impressed by the turning radius. Did hard acceleration (but no where near max) in different ride...

    SSP Sound Pro sound signature

I remember having a DVD of the Eagles (it may have been their Hell Freezes Over concert). It had a DTS audio-only track that was a high quality 5.1 mix of Seven Bridges Road that mixed the listener in the middle of the sound stage surrounded by the music. I see there are some Atmos mixes of...

Recommendation for a portable charger cable for NEMA 6-20?

I'm pretty sure the NEMA 6-20 is a 240v outlet.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I got a call today from my SA at the Scottsdale, AZ, Gallery to set up a Gravity test drive. They are doing one hour blocks and unlike the Air test drives, the SA rides with you. I've got one scheduled for tomorrow, and my wife is scheduled for Sunday.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Oohh I am going to have to look for that. It may have been added in some update that I didn't notice. I thought it was just an all-or-nothing toggle.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I would prefer my X only tilt the right mirror. I find the left tilt to make it almost useless.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I think this one is by design. I remember seeing in settings the option for tilt in reverse is only for the right mirror.

Hands free Drive Assist! Jul 30. Air first!

Having used Autopilot and FSD (beta/supervised) in my Model X for 7+ years, and Blue Cruise in my wife's Mach-E, I prefer at most times to have a hand on the wheel. I don't have my Lucid yet, but the torque sensing seems similar to Tesla's. I don't tug at it periodically. Instead I hang a hand...

Gravity and Tesla Wall Connector (Gen2 not supported, Gen3 works)

Minor correction: you will use the J1772 to NACS adapter. The CCS1 to NACS is only for DCFC.

Recommendation for a portable charger cable for NEMA 6-20?

The OP has a 20A circuit, so would want the LCS-20...except that it does not have an option to come with a 6-20 plug. I also wonder if @DeaneG or @borski have concerns about using an Air Conditioner outlet for continuous 16A use, similar to the well known problems of 14-50 Dryer outlets?

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

After the email post, and before your post, was this: You then posted this 1. The information this was an email was already posted in the forum. 2. @DrZorro also got the same email. I would infer from this, and the wording, that it was intentionally sent as a bulk mail merge, either to those...

    My Biggest Concern with Gravity

[@hmp10 beat me to it...] I think he was referring to these in the Lucid Store https://store.lucidmotors.com/lucid-air-sunshade-set-glass-canopy/ [There seems to be two versions now. The link I gave is for a $170 version. I don't know what the difference is between these and the $250 version.]

[RESOLVED] Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

I shipped a game, "Hover!", on the Windows 95 CD-ROM. It was shipped prior to Direct Draw--using the WinG library. It ran on every CPU level supported by Win95 (386sx through Pentium). Last I checked it still ran on Windows 10, and I have no doubt it still runs on Windows 11, 30 years after...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

I agree that OTAs are wonderful at making these cars better. However Lucid is not unique in this regard. My Model X is a very different car now than it was in 2018. It does seem that the EV startups are doing OTA upgrading--for free--better than the legacy automakers.

[RESOLVED] Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

I agree with you. But Apple routinely violates this idea. They care very little about backwards compatibility, force apps to support their newest features, and then make it so older devices cannot run the newest stuff.
