Every V3 supercharger station I'm aware of around South Florida appears to be compatible with the adaptor per the App. I know a V2 showed up as incompatible so i guess its a location by location thing.

Looks like a great way to piss off Tesla owners in those V3 stalls!

Yeah I mean I don’t think of it so much as elected or not elected. I think of the basic autopilot equivalent of almost a standard feature these days if they want to hang with Tesla in that regard. Just wondering if the tech at that level on the car is even enough.

I can live with that. Most of the time when supercharging my Tesla back in the day I never went that high even on road trips. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze, so to speak.

So is there any chance with the tech installed in DD Premium that those vehicles would ever get the equivalent of Tesla basic autopilot? I have '25 Pure with DD Premium and I'm just wondering if my car even has the capability for that (i understand it doesn't for the Tesla equivalent of "full...

All positive. Loving the frequent updates rolling out. Selecting the Amps is huge for those of us in warmer/humid climates who've had throttling issues on home chargers.

I think it's a good thing. He's about as popular and relevant a celebrity as there is right now.

I doubt it but would be nice. As I mentioned in another thread it's woefully inadequate in the warmer temps and I have a Pure with no glass roof.

I think a interesting question is will a 50kw-limited situation be treated the same in terms of ramp up and down speed as on a typical unrestricted supercharger, which typically only hits the peak kw for a brief moment or two before curving down. I think that's done to protect the battery...

It's funny how you get answers from both the Lucid side and the Tesla side but the bottom line is as of now it ain't working past 50 KW after July 31 until Tesla actually activates a 1000v V4 supercharger. At that point it would seem that it would charge faster.

No...so the limitation is in the Tesla Supercharger architecture itself and the 400 volts. Air's have 800 volts and don't communicate well with the 400 V, hence the limitation. The new V4 stalls, when fully operational, may be a different story since they have a higher voltage architecture...

Hmm… well…I preordered the adaptor and I have a road trip for business planned from Miami to Davenport, FL just south of Disney in mid Aug. There is a brand new and operational 20 stall V4 station that I’m planning to try out. I guess worst case I’ll get up to 50kw but maybe I’ll get lucky.

Are you positive? I'm seeing several articles about V4 being rolled out and operational next year that were written in 2024. The site i originally linked to on the first page of this thread indicates V4 325 kw in several locations down here around Florida that are operational.

Anyone know of any quick way to search for v4 superchargers? I know they're quite rare (if any). Also, I wonder if Lectron or other adaptors will work and this is just Lucid trying to sell their branded adaptor. Time will tell...

Living down here where I do I am so glad I did not go for the glass canopy. The AC is definitely one of the weaker points of a car without many weak points.
