Mobile tech coming out next week to fix (I hope).

Same here, first thing this morning, 2.0.71. Took only about 5 minutes.

But did they make that grinding noise? I’m afraid it might be mechanical more than a software thing.

What do you mean, “power cycling”? My rear passenger door is stuck closed and makes that machine-gun noise if I try to open it (I can open from inside, however). Is there an easy fix for this, or must I call a service tech? Thanks.

Once while sitting in the car in an underground garage, (I had the phone and the fob with me) it just completely shut down and locked us both in. After an initial panic (which I always do), I was able to get the driver’s side window down, reach out and hit the door, and voila, the car woke up...

Mea culpa. That’s what I get for using what is, I suppose, a generic Owners Manual and assuming that the adjustments mentioned in it applied to all Air models. Now I need to go check my Touring pilot panel!

Just happened to me last night. Pilot panel and right cockpit screen were completely dark when I got in the car to return home. Everything else worked fine and I was able to drive home, at which point I called Customer Care. The rep stayed on the phone with me walking me through a soft reset...

Yesterday I started to charge at an EA. Charging stopped after climbing only 1%, dashboard showed “drive system fault” and red battery light came on. Called Customer Service (was on hold a very short time) and the rep told me to get out, lock the car, let it go to sleep mode. When I got back...

I’ve charged at EA twice since I got the car, and both times worked absolutely perfectly. Couldn’t be easier - I pulled in, plugged in, the EA charger “reads” that it’s a Lucid, and when I select “continue” it initializes and charges away. The speed is great; I went from 27% to 80% in 30...

Nevertheless, I was clearly told that they cannot, and will only be reaching out to customers about the recall by direct email on or about April 21st.

That’s what I was asking Customer Care for, but was told that all notices about this issue would be sent around April 21st, not before. So we have no way of knowing if ours are the affected cars.

I just spoke with Customer Care as well. They are not able to let us know if our individual car is affected. I was told that the car cannot be queried remotely to see if I am affected; they are not in a position to do that as yet. We would have to wait until the April 21st notifications...

Amendment to yesterday’s crabby post: this morning I got the notification of the update availability. I started it from my phone on the Lucid App remotely, while the car was parked in my condo’s underground garage, where I didn’t think there was much of a signal strength. Much to my (pleasant)...

I’m STILL waiting for the update! and that’s after I had an online Chat with Lucid and they said they’d push the software update right away. Am I missing something?! No update notification appears anywhere…. 😖

I did the same thing - even before I got the car, I ordered the graphite mats for my ZR/SC Touring. And I agree, here in S Florida, they’re working out great and look fine with the interior colors. Very happy with them.
