Yes, it depends on the temperature outside and the battery temperature. Sometimes, the charge drops a bit and then increases later. I have seen flatter curves that stay at 80kw up to 80%.

I have a touring and this was an actual charging curve. By 20% you will be below 200kw.

I did not realize the 2025 models do not come with a mobile charger. I would not recommend that. Lucid should offer it as an option so you get it with the car.

Yes it does. I got a mobile chord with my purchase. Then bought the range extender and got another set of mobile chord. So I have two sets. One stays in my car and one at home. I also have a Chargepoint home flex and a lucid charger to plug into. Haha

I would get an electrician to add an EV 240 outlet and use the cable that comes with the car. It will give you pretty good kw and better than level 1. The cable that comes with the car has a 240 plug and is for 40 amps.

Shane, i would like to analyze the log. I saw the charging log in the video. Is that something yiu can share with us? Or any other log if the trip?

I still think we should get a small group of Lucid Owners and do a 1,000 mile trip with every model. The Pure will be most efficient but the GT will charge faster.

Not sure. But they are more efficient due to the heat pump at least.

I disagree with you. It is not the point of charging to 80%. But charging to 50% all the time is a bad idea. It takes time to drive to a charger and plug in. The extra minute or two to charge further is better.

Count me in for the 40 hour drive. Glad to have Shane with us. Shane, my comment though blunt and broad was focused on Dave. The idea that getting to zero% is ok, is terrible. None of us drive our cars like that.

Next time, please include a real Lucid driver in the race. I love driving my Lucid on long trips. I know how my car charges and how the battery is used. I am sure a real Lucid driver would have come in 2nd in this race. Remember the video is like a Tyson v Paul fight, only for entertainment.

I like the extra decimal place on the Trip page regarding miles/kwh. On updates, my fobs have never been close to the car and I have never had a problem.
