Well, there are rebels such as myself that are driving around with no front license plate. I do believe they offer one of those transponders here but it needs to be installed on the front plate.
I hate to put this thread back on topic but...
Just got a call from my service guy. We talked about few things (including the cutout in the tint for toll trsnsponders--see that thread for details)... I asked if there were any updates on the software front especially to address connectivity...
So, it turns out there IS a tint cutout for toll road transponders on the Gravity windshield. It's sublle in the pics. I drew arrows around the border.
Now, if only I could fit the Tolltag AND radar detector there.
As for radar detection, I'm convinced that the tint blocks radar too as...
I got the email too. I do like that they are at least openly acknowledging issues which seems to be a positive change and gives reassurance that they are working on them.
I'll tempted to try turning it on out of curiosity...of course, with my luck, the moment I do, my fob will probably stop working altogether, brick the car, and it will burst into flames lol. 🤣
I'm glad what I'm doing seems to work for you (and hopefully anyone else having issues).
Also, of note, I have NOT tried using the key with the proximity unlock thing turned ON because where I work my car is very close to my desk on the other side of a the wall (and I can't see the car)...and I...
Just FYI, when service was here, I had them check the 3rd row vents since I had seen a lot of talk about it. Mine worked great...though when we tested it, the service guy was in the 3rd row and I hopped in the 2nd row and turned on the A/C. No issues there.
As for the Homelink situation: So I...
I noticed yesterday when washing my car that mine does a similar thing...though moreso on the driver's side and with barely any wiggle on the passenger side.
I'm about 3 weeks in and I also do not have any key issues. Perhaps your settings are different than mine and how you are interacting with the car is different...That may make the difference. Here's what has worked for me since day 1:
--I have the proximity/auto lock/unlock thing in the...
A picture is worth a thousand words... This is iThinkEv's car from a prior post ...my spoiler has the exact same alignment. I've also seen others that look the same.

I asked the service guy about the same thing as well...and told him that basically every other Gravity I'd seen pictures of was the same way so I wasn't sure if that's how it's supposed to be or not. I'll let you know what I find out.
That's what I was assuming...I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something isolated to mine. Looking forward to getting this ironed out as this is really the only software quirk I have. Knock on wood!
Is everyone else having the connectivity issue where you have to either switch profiles or reboot to get the radio apps/stored stations to reappear and work after the car is parked/goes to sleep? Of course, I showed this to the mobile service techs when they were at my house yesterday to install...
I also only got 1 fob + 2 cards... Though they did tell me at delivery they thought DEs were supposed to get 2 fobs (GTs are supposed to get 1) and they put it in on my Due Bill. I haven't received it yet... Or any of the other accessories including the frunk seat.
I also forgot to mention. I did try out Dream Drive for the first time on this trip as well....which is my first-ever experience with any sort of autonomous driving. I must say, it very much exceeded my expectations. I used it for a total of about 30 miles and it made ZERO errors. Can't ask for...
Took my first mini road trip out of Dallas today. Stopped at Buccee's on the way back...decided to try out the Tesla Supercharger for the first time just to make sure it works (I had plenty of charge to get home--was more to satisfy my curiosity). I must say, it was quick and flawless. Plugged...
It's *barely* visible with polarized sunglasses (probably <10% original brighntess)...basically to the point where it's not visible unless you are trying to spot it. My last car's HUD was *dim* with polarized sunglasses but you could see it (maybe about 30% brightness). Hope that helps. I will...
While I don't have an Air, I can tell you I have had no issues with the fob (either using the buttons on the fob to lock/unlock or using the "handle push" method) to lock and unlock. The phone as a key is coming in an update so no word on how well that works.
