    Only difference with the other models, such as GT is that the battery pack is heavier, thus the load on the battery is lower in the GT compare to Touring. But if that would be the limiting factor, then why there's still so much acceleration possible at that speed before it's cut off abruptly.

    Maximum speed in my Touring is always 145miles/hr or 233km/hr. Tires are Pirelli hl265/35 r21103y. No idea why it's limited at this speed.
