Please shere your PPF quotes for front clip and whole car. Just want to see if the quotes I've received are similar. Thx.

$7.900 PPF whole car, with ceramic coating & tint all glass (including glass canopy). Installer used Lluminar with ceramic impregnated. Work was done by shop that was close by the Lucid center in Riviera Beach FL.

    Car Insurance

My umbrella policy with USAA requires a 300/500 liability limit on the car insurance. Most Insurors only offer 250/500 coverage. Something to keep in mind.

    Charger FAQ/Explanation

For what it's worth, I have a 200amp panel & Qmerit wanted $4.5 to install a 100amp line, run about 8 feet from my panel, for my Lucid charger. Another electrician I found charged me $1,600 all in, including permits. I'm in Delaware near Lewes, probably a less expensive area than Houston & some...

Glass Canopy: To Tint or Not to Tint

I got the most modest level of tint I could, which I believe was 70%. A disclaimer, I live in Delaware & garage my car so heat gain is not really much of an issue. However, I was in the Vero Beach area for a few months right after Christmas & found that the ungaraged car could be a little warm...

Anyone in Bay Area get PPF/Ceramic from Tintix?

I paid $7,900 for the whole magilla - full ppf + ceramic. But that was in Fl so probably a bit cheaper than your area. If they can show you quality work it sounds like at a steal that price.

New scheduled charging feature -- how is it supposed to work?

C'mon, let's play nice boys. We're all anxious to get to the finish line of a fully developed car, so sometimes frustration erupts.

    2.0.56

Count your blessings. My car connects now with minimal hassle too, but still hoping to exceed 80kw on a 150 charger.

What did you sacrifice for a Lucid Air?

My purchase just required me to give up solvency. Oh well :)

Lucid Air charging rate on 350 KW fast charger

Negative spin. Just like on the curveball I tried to throw in American Legion baseball, almost 50 years ago. :)

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I guess that explains where Bobby went when he escaped from my trunk :) :) (If you're confused, check out my earlier post, can't remember what thread, where I confirmed my desire to keep Bobby in my trunk to help me navigate the learning curve on a Lucid). :)

    2.0.56

Great to hear about so many enjoying the benefits of 2.0.56. I have a home charger but will be taking a long trip soon & plan on using EA. Hopefully I too will be able to report a wonderful charge experience.
