    Share your best pic!

Hey folks - would love to see more real world pics of the cars that are out there in the wild, including interior if you're game. Will give a better perspective, especially for those of us that haven't been able to see the Air in person yet.

    Touring Standard Equipment

I just created a spreadsheet comparing the Touring to Pure and these are the differences I see (cross-posted): Touring has access to Glass Canopy, Pure doesn't Touring comes with 20" wheels by default with access to 19" or 21", Pure can only get 19" or 20" Touring comes with leather (including...

Took delivery last Friday! Thoughts on week one and unfortunate problem last night.

Any "keyless ignition" vehicle requires access to the key to start, and if it's in a Faraday pouch that inherently removes access to it. Weird that you'd use that while driving - I can understand using it at home to prevent unnecessary wakes during the evening/overnight.

Will EVs make much difference re. global warming?

I'm not arguing, my friend. If you want to move the largest number of people with the least environmental impact, efficient mass transit plus highly efficient individual vehicles are required. Really, creating a vehicle that can go from 0-60 in 3 seconds has nothing to do with environmental...

It does look like the production indeed is 50 to 60 per day 20 days of the month.

I think you'd be surprised. Options will become more prevalant as they increase production and move into the lower tiers.

It does look like the production indeed is 50 to 60 per day 20 days of the month.

"As per our internal source, as well as comments on the Lucid Owners forum, Lucid Group’s production cadence has now increased to between 40 and 50 cars per day from an earlier run rate of just 5 to 15 cars daily." At least they readily admit it.

Will EVs make much difference re. global warming?

I pretty much consider electric cars to be the ultimate fix for sports car/sports sedan groupies. The mineral costs of producing the batteries alone is really a pretty awful thing, and considering how limited recycling will be until they standardize how they're built, currently I don't see EVs...

Pay for options or wait for bug fixes?

Did they happen to provide the same for the touring?

Review: Heat Shield Store custom sun shades for Lucid Air

Heatshield’s are the best (once they have the right fit). Highly recommended for anyone looking for a solar shade. Though I can’t say I’d mess with side/upper panels.

Lucid Has Other Car Companies Shooting For Them

300 miles real range is a starting point for a lot of folks, which is why 400 miles EPA is such an important thing. I'd 100% go for a smaller Lucid if it were available, but I'm good with the size of the Air - I wouldn't want it any bigger though. It's 2" longer than my previous car, but 6"...

    Disappointing Surreal Sound Pro

All the more reason to get Carplay up and running. I don't currently have it available in either vehicle, so come on Lucid! Thanks for setting me straight.

    Disappointing Surreal Sound Pro

All this discussion about audio over bluetooth reminds me of when iPhone removed the headphone jack and we were stuck with bluetooth audio instead of hardwired. Same in my car - our van is bluetooth only, my car has hardwired or bluetooth available. Consistently hardwired sounds significantly...

what are you watching right now?

Will definitely have to check out She-Hulk and The Boys. Seems BCS is worth a go, too. We're watching Billions right now (finished Homeland a few weeks ago). And I started watching Oz on HBO (oldie but a goody). Was one I had thought about watching but never got to - a friend recently...

Have we confirmed no rebate for Pure?

Correct - any orders already placed (prior to bill signing) that are delivered this year are a non-issue, they will get the tax credit. Orders confirmed before bill signing but not delivered till a subsequent year (anything other than 2022) get iffy because of the 5% language the IRS put out...

Pay for options or wait for bug fixes?

We all wanna know what they say if you actually get a response with real information. Well, at least those of us waiting for a Touring/Pure!

    Pures incoming?!

Guaranteed they have specs, but once they publish them they're committed. I'm sure they're waiting as long as possible to see what parts create supply chain bottle necks and which features can create enough difference to justify the various pricing levels. If a basic Pure is effectively a spec...

    Hello fellow lucid lovers

Remains to be seen. Per the original intent, if you "confirmed" your order and made your deposit non-refundable, the thought it that will lock you into a binding written contract. However, there is a clause the IRS added about binding written contracts which indicates at least 5% of a high...
