Probably due to eventual resale value. One week someone owns a 2022 and the next week someone else owns a 2023. Three years from now one has depreciated more but is only one week older.

I would think that anyone who could afford a Air would have a income limit above any tax credit program. This isn’t a poor persons car….

No one really knows the true reason for stopping deliveries and Lucid will never tell if they follow past history. In another thread the OP said a DA told him it might be due to all the Pirelli tires with bulges and blow outs. No one knows at this point….
