Sounds like fun, but I can't get up there on Friday. I'll see you at the EV Fest or someplace else Saturday morning if we're meeting up and driving in together like the last one.
I forgot about the heat when I signed up for the tour. Definitely not my favorite thing. Just don't set anything up where we're standing in the 100 degree sun for an hour.
It used to be 50,000. I've been saving up points for it for a long time. I still don't have that many, but this is a big reduction and leaves me a lot of points with nothing I need to get right now.
I just signed up for the Factory Tour on June 26th. I expect we'll drive out on the 25th and be there until the weekend. Is there any chance of meeting up with some Phoenix owners?
I had been reading up on Lucid, but didn't think I'd ever get one at that point. I remember watching that and wondering if it was a Lucid ,and looking it up. I think that was it's first appearance on the screen. It made me want it even more than I did already!
I love it!!! The music make makes it feel like a limo is driving up. @CraZ8, as I've said in another thread, your Lucid and mine are identical, down to the trim, so this is really cool!
You're not alone. I can't get the timing for that right either. It's just easier to press the exterior button on the trunk when I walk up to the car. If I'm in the car, I use the button on the pilot panel. I use the fob for the frunk, or to lock and unlock the doors. But not the trunk.
Around my house, "working on it" is a phrase that was banned a long time ago. I'd ask my husband to do something and it took forever with no progress. When I'd ask about when it would get done, he'd always say he was working on it. It got to mean, good luck ever seeing it done. Now no one...
Last minute notice. I'm getting a few owners together in San Diego this weekend. Sunday May 4th. Meeting at Gravity Heights at 11:30. The address is 9920 Pacific Heights Blvd, San Diego. Come if you can!
I always find it really interesting to learn the origin of phrases. They're often things you'd never expect. Given the sizes of a pig and a cat, and the way they move and sound, you wouldn't think that substituting one for the other would fool too many people!
