RESOLVED "Passive Unlock is temporarily disabled”

This topic has come up so many times. I'm sure Lucid knows and would do something about it if they could. Maybe I just have one of the better cars. I normally have my phone and fob with me, although I have accidently left the house without the fob a couple times. I've never waited more than...

Insanity!! Why would anyone in their right mind climb an electrified fence or mess with barbed wire? Especially when you could spend a pleasant day with fellow Lucid owners instead.

RESOLVED "Passive Unlock is temporarily disabled”

I never could figure out why I had to push in the door handle in the morning when it unlocks on my approach the rest of the day. But I get that message multiple times a night too. So I guess that's the reason.

I thought it was a 5K race. This looks even harder!!! I'd definitely have passed out. No question about it. Congrats for finishing it!

SoCal Next Lucid & Lattes combined with SoCal EVFest 2025 in Long Beach on Sat. 5/31/25

Can't disagree with that. Tesla owners do seem to customize their cars a lot more than Lucid owners. But than again, if I had a white Tesla, I'm not sure what color it would end up, but I'd have to do something to it.

    Drive Unit Failure

I had to deal with a front drive unit failure last month. Because it happened in the evening, I had AAA tow it to my house. The next morning, Lucid arranged for a tow up to Costa Mesa. It took 2 1/2 weeks to analyze the problem and replace the front drive unit and then they towed it back to...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I don't miss it in the Lucid as much as I thought I would. I have the Carlinkit set up for AA, but I only plug it in maybe 10% of the time. But I do really appreciate it in rental cars. It saves you from having spend the time to figure out a completely different UI in a car that you'll only be...

    Locked Out

I'm just catching up on this whole thread. I will agree that the car really shouldn't lock itself if the fob is in the car. My other car does not. Although I doubt I'd do it more than once myself. When you put it in park and open the door, it does remind you to take your fob with you. What I...

My recent Lucid Service Experience - Costa Mesa Service

The service advisor you get does make a big difference! My last repair up at Costa Mesa went really well too. @californiaboy935, I hope you get your car back in time. What's the estimated return date?

Cosmos Silver Metallic with Leather (and 14 way) vs Fathom Blue with Leather Alt (and 20 way)

The Fathom Blue and Cosmos Silver are very close in color. In certain lighting conditions, you can barely say which the car is untless they are sitting next to each other. I'd go with the better seats. Having the extra adjustments really adds comfort. I don't use the massage often, but...
