Lucid’s Complete Stoppage of All Customer Delivery’s….What Do You Think?

My DA just called and said my Grey/Tahoe GT (with 21-inch wheels!) has cleared PDI at the Riviera Beach, FL service center. I expect it to be delivered to my home sometime next week.

    Delivery Delays

I just talked to my DA, and he said he wasn't aware of any system-wide delivery hold. He said that one of his customers just got his GT yesterday.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

My car arrived at Riviera Beach yesterday, July 18. So, 17 days from VIN assignment to arrival at the service center. Now, we'll see how long it takes to get to me!

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Well, perhaps 18-19 days from VIN to arriving at the Riviera Beach service center. Not sure when I’ll get it yet.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

My Grey/Tahoe GT shipped out of Casa Grande on Friday, July 15. My DA says it should arrive in Riviera Beach by tomorrow, July 19. Timeframe seems similar to that experienced by @Amar G recently.

    Lucid Charger

My DA said the same thing: soon (Q3) and $1200. One wrinkle may be that you need to express an interest to your DA. I got the impression that Lucid is creating a waitlist for the charger, and that the chargers will arrive in batches. So, if you want one, let Lucid know.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

Hoping they're doing a better job of assembling them in the first place, hence less need for PDI!

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Grand Touring

I received my Grey/Tahoe GT VIN on July 1. Yesterday (July 14), my DA told me my car is complete, and should ship out to Riviera Beach, FL imminently. There's a good chance the service center will receive it by next Friday (July 22). This is not a cancelled car; it's new production. So...

    Insurance Megathread

I'm in east central Florida (New Smyrna Beach), and, as I posted above, my quotes from GEICO, State Form, Progressive, and eSurance were in the approximate range of $1200 to $1600 per year. I'd recommend you check around more.

    Insurance

I'm shopping for insurance, and my local agent gave me a quote from Travelers. The rate was pretty good, until I noticed they identified the car as a Lada, not a Lucid!

    Brief post-PPF+Service Update

So, what setting did you use with the Lucid's tone control(s)? 32Hz to 21 kHz. What a piker!:) I've got two Definitive Technology Trinity subwoofers in my home system. Sub-20Hz bass is a piece of cake!:) You really are going to force me into a Room Equalization Wizard setup for my Mac.

    Brief post-PPF+Service Update

Now that you've tested the audio system's frequency response in your own car, did you try to boost the bass with the car's tone controls to see if you could flatten the bass response? I was wondering if a certain level of adjustment worked well or were the turnover frequencies in the wrong...

Pros and Cons of each wheel size?

I drove a pre-production Air GT with the 19-inch wheels at the West Palm Beach Studio and then, about 1-1/2 months later, a pre-production Air GT with the 21-inch wheels at the Miami Studio. I honestly didn't notice any ride deterioration issues with the 21-inch wheels. Of course, different...

    Nice touch!

I thought the standard swag for the peasants buying GTs was a tote bag, a cap, and a water bottle.

    Navigation routing question

For those of us who don't have our cars yet, how do you reset the navigation display? Is it using the total reset procedure for the car? Thanks.

Maybe that was part of your younger days. I'm jealous.

    Tired of Poor Quality software

My girlfriend's Mazda CX-5 has auto wipers that stay in the "auto" state all the time. She really likes that feature, in that she basically never has to think about starting or stopping the wipers. My car, on the other hand, does not have auto wipers. But, I don't know how many times I've...

    Model Years?

I think they'll have to do it by January 1, 2023. My recollection is that EPA won't allow two "January 1's" in a given model year.
