Greetings from NJ (early GT owner)

Welcome and great to hear your early impressions. I have nearly 12K miles on my GT. I agree with your view. 2.0.X makes it feel like a whole new car software wise. Updating this morning to 2.0.47.

$1.5 billion raised mostly from Saudi PIF

Agreed. I have been steadily adding to my LCID position and averaging down. I am no rush to turn a profit. There is a bankruptcy risk, but my view is that is small -- the PIF is not going to pull the plug prior to profitability is my belief. Honestly, in part, I bought an Air GT to understand...

I don't listen to Cramer. He's a fool. I would say do the opposite of whatever he is pushing.

    2.0.45

Installed 2.0.45 this morning. Driving. Have not noticed any changes. But they seem to be behind the scenes based upon the release notes.

$1.5 billion raised mostly from Saudi PIF

This deal suggests to me that the Saudis do not want Lucid to fail. That sentiment is a huge boost for all things Lucid — investors, owners, employees and probably most importantly potential customers. There just is not much of a market for cars over $150K. Lucid has in my view done very well...

$1.5 billion raised mostly from Saudi PIF

There is a lot of smart money in LCID at higher prices. I think it is questionable if it will ever get into the $5.50 range.

$1.5 billion raised mostly from Saudi PIF

Agreed. LCID is a long term investment. It it hits “half its peak” this shareholder will be getting a Sapphire…

$1.5 billion raised mostly from Saudi PIF

This shows that 1) Lucid is NOT going bankrupt and 2) the Saudi PIF has doubled down on their investment showing confidence in Lucid. I see this as a good thing for both LCID investors and Lucid Air owners (I am both)...

My experience after 2 test drives

Great. I have a GT. Love it. I think all the trims are amazing.

    First test drive- First impressions

Lucid is offering free bear decals. They install them for owners who want them.

    LCID just went below $8

Shorts are usually savvy investors and rarely get squeezed. They usually unwind their positions slowly and strategically. But the short ratio on $LCID is currently 5.98 so it may have true squeeze potential if it goes over 8 and there is some unanticipated good Lucid news.

Letter to Lucid on Midsized Vehicle

Lucid could do both -- license and make their own high volume lower priced "Model 3". Problem is that I doubt big automakers would want to be dependent on a competitor for components as critical as drive train and batter management. I hope there are some takers but automakers are arrogant and...

Letter to Lucid on Midsized Vehicle

That's correct, my bad. But I believe they are essentially the same platform and share many parts. The Model 3 is wildly popular. That is the car Lucid should target IMO.

Letter to Lucid on Midsized Vehicle

One more thought... I think that Lucid could do both like Tesla did with the Model 3/Y. Probably could bring out a smaller platform sedan and SUV at the same time after project Gravity. I too have a lot of $LCID and have confidence that they will deliver. But do not expect return on your...

Letter to Lucid on Midsized Vehicle

Would be nice to have an Apple dashboard. I am an "all Apple" guy. But the Andriodians out there would probably not like it. Also, the current Lucid UX is based upon the Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and would be a complete re-write I would think. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Android_Automotive

Google home app opens Lucid phone connection???

This is the same behavior that happens with a bluetooth connected iPhone when you use Siri. If you say "Hey, Siri" similar behavior happens. Not unique to Lucid. Did the same on my 2013 Porsche Boxster and an older Mercedes-Benz I have that is pre-CarPlay.

    Future direction of the forum

VIN numbers are not very private. Walk around a mall parking lot and write down as many as you want to... But I have better things to do with my time. I am not proposing having VIN's show up in the posts or member profiles, but just as part of an approvals process for Admins and Moderators eyes...
