New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried to clean it yet. The wrap was ceramic coated after so its still pretty fresh even after 2 rain sessions. But eventually I'm gonna have to wash it. If you find a product that's suitable, let me know. I might just use the waterless wash solution that's been...

New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

That makes sense. I remember asking him about it, and it doesn't work for me, because of the wrap I chose. The brushed film has texture and doesn't play nice. If I had chosen a gloss or satin, etc, the front PPF on top was part of the pricing from what I remember.

New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

good point. I was aware of that option when looking into this and thought about it. They even have color shifting PPF available. But I wasn't interested in the current color offering for the PPF. I wanted the brushed look. @BradSholl you might want to look into what @3rdMotor was referring to...

New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

Yes, vinyl wraps are not durable in the sense that it's not like PPF. It's much thinner. It may protect against some road debris but that's about it. It's more for changing the color. Depending on the quality of the film, it should last about 4-5 years. In terms of assurances and repairs, I'll...

Cost is similar to the stealth package but wheels not included.

Thanks. It changes the look, just enough for now.

New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

Yes, that's exactly what I did. Wanted to see what it looks like first. Those are the stock 21s with every other spoke blacked out. I need to spread the cost out so doing this until I decide on a new set.

Thanks. Just wanted something a little different. I've been enjoying the car that much more.

The wheels were done after the initial wrap. So all 4 look like that now.

New UX, New car. Check out my wrap.

I have a white GT and as much as I enjoyed the color, it still seemed a little flat to me, not really pearlescent. After getting the updated software, the car experience changed completely for the better. What better way to reintroduce the new feel of the car with a new look. Check it out...

    SiriusXM Megathread

That cable run was easy. You're right, I could have kept the adapter in the trunk and run the antenna wire to it in the back. But I was under the impression that the adapter had to be the power source for the Roady display and didn't think that the tuner would work as intended if I powered the...

    SiriusXM Megathread

Here are the pics of the install. I ended up doing 2 things. First I ran an extension cigarette cable from the trunk, through the cabin, to the front, by the passenger side of the center console. I pulled the back seat cushion up to hide the wire and keep it pretty clean. And to make sure it...

How is creep mode supposed to work?

Try the settings I suggested above and see if that works for you. No need to keep going into the menus to enable it when parking. One pedal driving during regular use. No need to use the brake at all. Then when you get to the area that needs more control, after you are stopped, lightly touch the...

How is creep mode supposed to work?

I've had the best result with Hold, Creep, and No Roll. But try out different settings for you to see what works out to your liking.

    The Journey Ends or Starting????

I have mine set at hold, no roll, and creep. Once creep is indicated, this combination has worked well for me maneuvering in tight spots that need more delicate control. No lurching. Very controlled and predictable motion.

    Stealth PPF coating is FIRE

Very nice. I like that look as well

How is creep mode supposed to work?

I also use creep mode for parking and tight spaces. Much better control. But I'm one pedal driving the rest of the time and rarely touch the brake on city streets or on the highway.

    SiriusXM Megathread

Great news regardless. Lucid is really taking strides updating the car and it's features. I haven't decided if I'm gonna keep or return my Roady, but that's more principal than anything since I spent time installing it.

New wheels but can’t find anyone to help lower it

Nice. I'll have to check them out. Sweet set up. KW wanted to keep your car for 3 months for them to design a lowering kit? Seems like a long time, but I guess they need to do testing and take pride in their product.
