Anybody losing their favorites on FM after the latest updates?

In other vehicles I arrange the favorites from South to North (NYC to Canadian border). What's annoying with Lucid is they are in frequency order. Now with the latest update stations that are too weak are not shown but if a station uses the same frequency it is shown. So now at home (North of...

    First Dream Edition Delivery!

Is the rear steer independent left to right? Most (all?), systems I know of, the left and right side wheels are connected to a single rack (one for front another for rear). The rack is either controlled by a mechanical linkage or more recently controlled by vehicle software. With a rack there...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Without the need for use of 400V DCFCs the current will be half with the more upto date DCFCs. With half the current one quartwr the heat will be generated. Does anyone know - are Tesla's the only 400v public DCFC currently used in NA? What about in Europe or Japan, are they all higher voltage?

    First Dream Edition Delivery!

Does anyone beside Tesla use 400v DCFCs?

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Well the Gravity need to be released to them for for a week or two of unsupervised testing. Which means 8 - 10 vehicles so none of the major outlets are short changed. Not sure that has happened yet.

Talk me out of/into 19" tires

Until the snowbelt pothole takes them out.

Supercharging. Explain it to me like I'm five years old

There is more to the charging world than EA and Tesla. In NJ (central and southern) there are several EVGO station and a couple of ChargeSmart all of which offer over 150kW speeds.

Based on tracker the order was for Aurora Green, 22/23 wheels and Tahoe interior (unless changed).

Wheel Spacers installed with 19” Aero Wheels

I would think the lugs pound out like most cars. Not sure the diameter of the splines nor the length of the lugs.

    Non-OEM Lugnut and Center Caps

I have to measure an original but for my snow rims I'm thinking https://www.gorilla-auto.com/gorilla-automotive-91148xlbc

    Non-OEM Lugnut and Center Caps

I'd go with enclosed lug nuts rather than covers.

    Key Detecting Antennas

Good luck with that, as even something as simple as a cabin air filter is only available from Lucid.

    No-drill front license plate?

I install ppf where the front plate goes then used 3m vhb double stick tape to attach the plate to the bumper. A year later, with the car parked outside in 100 degree heat, through many ski trips to central VT with twmperatures down to -20, the plate is still attached.

Recommended Touring mi/kWh to use with ABRP?

On long trips I rarely stop with SOC above 7. I will leave at 100 but then only charge to 60 or 65 while on the road otherwise I stopped too long. I figure 6 - 65 makes for faster travelling than 20 - 80.

Recommended Touring mi/kWh to use with ABRP?

I'd use your lifetime average of 3.2. I find (Pure AWD 19inch wheels) that highway efficiency (I generally travel at 74 indicated, 72 actual) and around town efficiency are fairly close. My lifetime is 3.6 and it's rare that long highway runs are much higher than that.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Agree, but not explaining the cause is the real problem. I don't think people would be worked up over the loss of HUD if Lucid gave a reasonable explanation.

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

The Vistiq is closer in form the the Gravity (6 or 7 seats, air suspension, rear steering). Smaller, less efficient, and slower but not a large on the outside not so large on the inside inefficient vehicle like the Esclade.

Convince me to buy a Gravity DE (current Air DE owner)

The new BMW i3 should be available by EOY. If your needs are not immediate you could postpone your decision until that's released. Likely the right size but maybe the wrong price.

    Aftermarket center wheel caps

Personally if I were going that route I would use aftermarket lugs (acorn style, black or chrome for $50) and an aftermarket center cap. I may go that route for my snow set up (still need two more 19 inch wheels and two more TPMS). Not sure what size cap fits, it is around 63mm OD.
