As I said in my post, regardless of the real issue, unsecured mats have not been a thing for over 15 years. After the Toyota issues it's surprising that any OEM would be clueless enough to sell unsecured mats in their cars.

I use outlet by Penn Station. Last two license renewals were 10 minutes each at the NY Autos, take eye test pay the money get new license in the mail a week later. Been 8 years so I'll be trying at the Autoshow again this year. Otherwise I'll use Penn Station outlet on my way home from the show.

Never waited more than 15 minutes to get or surrender plates at DMV. I usually go at lunch or after work before catching the train home. Of course the offices in NYC maybe more efficient than the suburban offices.
