i live in memphis, tn area and the only one i've seen is on the highway coming back from tupelo - they were headed south on 22. now, of course, i can add MINE to that list... but very few sightings in the mid-south.
thanks! once the ppf is on, i'm taking a road trip home to the memphis, tn area (800 miles!) - i've not seen any in town yet so pretty sure i'm one of the first! lemme know if anyone else is in the area!
picked mine up yesterday at tysons corner! had to wait an hour and a half for them to finish detailing, which was fine since i'd been flying all morning - grabbed lunch at the beer joint around the corner. immediately drove to get PPF/Tint applied, kind of a white knuckle experience: first...
i agree - they help a lot! i can still see the stitching but doesn't bother me much.. just picked the car up so still quite amp'd to be noticing everything!
thanks for the link - i've gone ahead and ordered since i plan on taking an 800 mile trip right off the bat! if (when!?) i notice the issue - i'll give these a shot!
egads... i'm just under 6'5" and did not get a chance to test drive - picking up my touring next week! i hope it doesn't cause as much distress as you guys are seeing! has anyone actually tried the polarized glasses approach? i realize thats not really an option at night, but seems like a good...
yup - me as well, and since i'm not financing through lucid i gotta pay the full sales tax when i go get a license. at least i wont have to worry about any mixups in sending of license plates! would've been nice to knock the $7500 off the top, but i think its an accounting thing, they can...
hey - almost in the same boat, i refused to sign the bofa until i had a concrete delivery date. then i found a few more loans at better rates (ended up with 3.5%!), but now my DA has gone missing!? if i were you, ask your DA to see if there's another vehicle with same specs thats ready to be sold
egads - this is giving me roadrtip anxiety and i haven't even picked up my vehicle yet! right off the bat i'm planning an 800 mile trip (reston, va to memphis) but now starting to question that idea! i like the idea of having another provider as a backup plan - any suggestions for one thats...
thanks for that info! yeah - i saw some of those too. i was initially thinking minimum (due to cash crunch) but seems the absolute minimum would be full front (so i dont have any lines half way up the hood for example)... and also probably want to get the rocker panels... minimum.
about to pick up my touring from the tysons corner area, wondering if there are any quality/suggested PPF providers in the area? (i'm driving my vehicle back home to memphis, tn - figured it would be good to start with some protection for the front at least!) thanks!
