    Warranty expiration imminent

Please keep us posted on this. As far as I know, your vehicle is the first one to require service out of warranty.

    Warranty expiration imminent

I was told by a CS manager that they are working on it. No ETA

    Warranty expiration imminent

Well, I have not done anything yet. And I'm at 52k. Because, of course, you guys are correct in that the high-priced components are still covered. So, I'm rolling the dice a bit. But at the rate I'm going, I'll be done with the 100k warranty before 2027 lol

    Unusual regenerative breaking behavior

This whole regen works sometimes and not others is frustrating because we're not getting all the information. I had regen completely quit on me one time when I was going down a steep hill with no warning or notification even as it happened. Of course I didn't need notification that my car was...

    Not a winter car?

I actually have driven on an unplowed Road where the front of the car was pushing snow because of the ground clearance. It was only my own Street and it was a light powdery snow. So I wasn't really too concerned about hitting anything or damaging the car. And having said that, it was kind of...

    Not a winter car?

BTW the handles were not frozen. I've never had it happen just from snow. But if the sun melts it a little bit and then it freezes overnight... Different story

    Not a winter car?

The door handles can and do freeze shut. I believe that Lucid increased the outward force to try to get them to break any ice built up. I think that was in an OTA update a while ago. The mechanism that pushes the handles out can dislodge a connector and then the handle won't pop out at all...

My RWD Air pure slipped in snow at 15 mph and hit a pole

Lucid has authorized body shops now. Reach out to CS or service and ask for an authorized body shop near you. Although, I think they also have a service center on LI. So you could probably just go there. And I echo what has already been said above- It's going to cost more than you think and...

How do you use your Air??

Poll is still open. Initial 47 responses are enlightening. Most responders indicate moderate frequency of driving and other vehicles available. Note that I said enlightening but not surprising. That's consistent with my expectations.

How do you use your Air??

If you're going to do that you got to paint a Union Jack on there 😂

How do you use your Air??

It's no secret that many of us have *very* different views on our cars and on Lucid itself regarding where they started, where they are currently, where they are going, and what they can/can't do or should/shouldn't do moving forward. And that got me thinking. This poll is not asking for any...

Open letter to Lucid after 7 months of ownership

I agree with the OP on much of the sentiment. And I also agree with this. The grass is always greener, right? I've been driving a Wagoneer rental for a week and a half. And while I'm enjoying being able to use AA, the entire infotainment system froze twice yesterday when I was in unfamiliar...

So it finally happened - my first stranded / tow truck service call.

Best of luck. Living 6 hours from a service center, I've had to push several times for transports when appropriate. They didn't question anything when I had that same fault though. Hope they keep their word on the return transport for you. I haven't heard of them picking up a car but...

    Actual Key Fob Data

I'm not a fan of the fob. I use it out of necessity because mobile key has been even more inconsistent. Not making excuses. Just wondering out loud how it came to be in existence in it's current iteration. I find it hard to believe the people in charge of it didn't have good reasoning for...

    Actual Key Fob Data

Oh from what I read here, I thought the mobile key on pixel 9 was pretty good, no? I should try it again with my S23 to see if it's any better after recent updates.

    Actual Key Fob Data

I'm inclined to agree. My guess is that Lucid anticipated that the majority of owners would use the mobile key and not the fob. I'm not saying they cheaped out on the fob. But they may not have done as much as possible with the fob design because they didn't think it would get much use by a...

New owner gratitude to the Forum community

Glad to be of service. *That's* what this group of great people are really here for - to help each other and others. Although I joined the group before anyone got a Lucid, I was nowhere near the first one to actually get one. Some really great and smart people are here and I have learned so...
