Ceramic coating, window tinting, and wraps

@Bel PPF in general can fatigue and yellow over time. It will also become very challenging to remove as it ages, and in some cases can damage the paint. The older the PPF is, the more expensive it will be to replace as it becomes challenging to get off in one piece.

    Interior and exterior modifications

The HRE's look really nice! Did you notice any difference in driving dynamics with the (assuming) lighter wheels?

    Winter is coming

Yeah, that's pretty common practice with socks or chains. They aren't a substitute for appropriate tires for the conditions, they just add additional traction in extreme circumstances. No-one is driving at freeway speeds with chains or socks regardless of what vehicle they are driving.

    19" vs 21" Tires: Ride Quality/Range Difference

TireRack shows it as a common 433mhz, but I haven't confirmed independent of that.

    19" vs 21" Tires: Ride Quality/Range Difference

There have been few attempts at swapping to non-oem at this point. Would be a great stickied topic for this forum, but you will need to account for the following: -Bolt pattern (iirc, 5x120 on Air) -Hub bore (this has yet to be confirmed online from my reading online, but can be overcome with...

    Winter is coming

@Dortreo are you planning on running a winter specific tire being in Boston? I'd suggest it highly from my time on the east coast with higher power / higher curb weight cars. In terms of braking in winter with regen, I liken regen (in all conditions) to engine braking with a manual transmission...

    Emergency exit from inside

@SM_NCarolina yes, at the risk of outing myself here, I've done it on numerous Lucids including cars with no power from the HV pack or 12v battery.

    Portable battery packs

Energy density is the biggest hill to climb there. There are industrial applications out there for things like roadside assistance, but they will charge at L1/L2 speeds to just give you a handful of miles to get to your next destination.

    Emergency exit from inside

I would be very careful believing everything read on the forums. It’s a place for helpful and healthy discussion but we’ve also seen plenty of user error or lacking understanding being thrown about as safety concerns. Pull really hard on the handle. The door will open. I’ve done it in cars...

    Post your lease figures

I do think the used market is still strong enough there’s more benefit going through a carvana / vroom / carmax to get your strongest trade in number. That is assuming you are not in a state with a used car trade in benefit. Some real world numbers would be good. The public facing calculator is...

    21” Michelins

I'd be wary of ascribing qualities to the brand just based off size. Michelin makes a number of 21" tires and depending on the tire spec and performance you are looking to get, NVH is going to be part of the trade off you make for a given size or performance rating. Something like a Michelin...

Reservation Transfer - PA/NJ/NY/CT area, Air GT, Zenith Red, Tahoe Interior, 19” Aero Range Wheels, Glass Canopy Roof, and AWD Drivetrain

This would be cost-prohibitive IMO, and something that in my opinion should be done at the factory, or done far cheaper in the aftermarket with a wrap job.

Need help cleaning Santa Cruz white mats!

Many levels of commitment you can take to keep the carpeting clean. I've had experience with Santa Cruz / Santa Monica interiors and the following has worked for me: -Vacuum, -Tuff Stuff with 30-60 seconds of lingering, and then hand scrubbing with a soft brush or microfiber, -Allow time to dry...

Recommendation for PPF in Bay Area

I haven't used OCDetailing yet, but called them for a quote on my partner's weekend toy getting old PPF removed and having the car gone over (she's incredibly particular on who works on the car) and they were very knowledgable, definitely passed my admittedly high bar for knowledge and attention...

    Launch Mode

Whidbey, you are correct- you would get best launch performance after preconditioning the pack.

Tesla2Lucid Wrap... what'll it be this time?

Going to say that I've always thought British racing green metallic would suit these cars nicely.
