At least Porsche would provide me with a proper loaner, and work on the car day of dropping it off on the appointment. Not have me drop off the car just for it to be sitting in 116° heat for 2 weeks, not being looked at, while I drive around a $19,000 Hyundai.

Had this issue, they booked me an appointment almost 2 months out back in April. Appointment was 2 weeks ago, where they informed me that now that I've dropped it off, they don't have a loaner and it will be sitting in a "queue" for 2 weeks before it got looked at. Well it's two weeks later...
