I charged my pure awd to 95 today and saw the warning. It was very useful. I drive extra carefully till I saw regen happened starting at 94 and 93 or 92 I felt that regen was perhaps 80%.At 91 it was near normal regen.
Ford's Lightning truck is a huge energy hog and if they make a 7 passenger SUV out of it, it would be a complete failure. Lucid stock fluctuates so much that it is hard to say why it went up. I think the market is waiting to see the actual sales of Gravity.
My pure just got 2.3.10. I don't tinker with regen or drive mode usually. The homelink was never an issue for me when I approach the garage. I would like homelink to come on when I enter the car in the garage based on the location. The car knows that I entered that location and I did not leave.
I got 3.8 in pure with ac set to 75F fan speed 8 HA set to 72 meaning 70mph on a flat road when the ambient was 110f. It dropped to 3.6 in ambient 35 to 45f heat set to 68 auto fan. 19 inch wheels
If you are comfortable driving at 55mph in where the speed limit is 65 or more, you will easily get the EPA range. Many of us checked it out on a flat road. You can try it.
We have many threads already on this topic. Why a new one? Can one of the admins, consolidate? I know that is asking a lot. At 16.5k miles and 1.5 yrs on my Pure AWD my average is 3.7miles per kWh.
I did not notice anything different when driving with 2.3.0 except perhaps when I approach and touch the door handle, it seems to appear sooner.
I did not try any of the new features like pre-conditioning using the app. I did not charge too high SoC to see the warning. So far, I see no new...
Lucid did state that the charge port will be NACS and it will ship with an adapter. I am assuming that it is 1000V capable NACS and so the charging speed should be similar to Air on CCS.
I understand now your point of view. I personally consider myself a fast follower of tech but not a bleeding edge adopter. I tend to wait for 1 year usually as a minimum. I do keep my tech and cars as long as they last. I wait for a bit of maturity in tech. That said I bought lucid just 1.5...
I bought Lucid in Dec 2022 close to age 66 and I hear you. When I replace my minivan in about 5 years at age 72, I too will not buy a brand new model in the year 1. At that point, I may consider a used Gravity for example.
For every new car these days all the fancy headlight, tail lights, brake lights, ADAS features are expensive parts to replace in what looks like minor damage.
