    FEATURE OTA Update 2.1.50

Although I have not gotten it, it sounds like this is not the update that will fix the Auto-Headlight/Rainsensor issues.

    Permanent button for Homelink

I haven’t tried this, but one way this could work is if the garage door is programmed far from its actual location - possibly about 100 feet on the way to the garage door. The car will trigger the menu based on the further GPS location, since it will think you are heading toward your location...

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

Since they replaced my Light/Rain sensor already, I can’t think of what needs calibrating and what is different from my car vs other Dream Editions that don’t have the problem. It may be the windshield, since I have the early one with small cut-out on the lower right corner. In any case, they...

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

I got a call today regarding my appointment tomorrow for the Auto-Headlight problem: The service center got a call from Lucid Engineering informing them that they determined that this is a software problem related to calibration for "early" Lucid Airs, primarily Dream Editions. They will have a...

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

I would call Lucid Customer Care and report your problem. My issue has not been resolved. Last week, they came out and replaced the light/rain sensor. I had shown them how to reproduce the problem and they claimed it was fixed, but I drove the car right after they left and the problem...

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

The auto-beams are supposed to come on in shaded areas, especially in tunnels or overhangs. The problem I have is that they come on in bright sunlight light, but not on overcast days or when the car is not facing the sun.

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

I have never accessed this location. The auto-light behavior seems that the A/D conversion overflows and wraps around. Could be a problem with the A/D converter or software. I don’t think a bent cable would cause this behavior.

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

As a follow up on my Auto-High Beam problem: After lengthy remote testing by Lucid, they determined that it was probably not a software problem, but something to do with the Light/Rain Sensor. They have scheduled a mobile visit next week to replace the sensor. If that still does not solve the...

    Tire repair

Discount Tire and America’s tire are the same company. They primarily have different branding in different parts of the country. Either company should not have a problem repairing tires with foam. It obviously depends on the exact position of the staple, but I have not had problems with...

    Strange Light Behavior Recently

I have had this problem also, and have contacted customer care and the service center. They say that no one else has reported this, but I did have this problem after the 2.1.47 update. I was able to reproduce the problem: It happens to me when facing mostly into sunlight. The last two days it...

Cabin Heat while DC Fast Charging

The Tesla OctaValve allows for both cooling the battery and heating the cabin simultaneously, although it is also incorporated with the heat pump. In any case , It manages 12 heating modes and 3 cooling modes for the cabin in addition to the electrical components. Maybe Lucid will use something...

FEATURE Introducing RangeXChange V2V charging for Lucid

Here is what I got. Notice it says, *Your Lucld Mobile Charger must have the RangeXchange Icon to ensure compatibility. If no Icon is present on your charging cable, it is not functional with the RangeXchange adapter tail. I've highlighted the Icon on the photo:

    SiriusXM Megathread

Now that SiriusXM has sent out emails regarding the trail on the Lucid, I decided to try the 3yrs for $99 offer. I was able to look up my radio ID with my existsing account because I transfer the new Lucid XM account over previously. Unfortunately, it only offered my the $5/mo deal.

    NACS Megathread

Yes, has mentioned another place here and on the Internet. They have a switch on board that will either switch to two 400 V batteries in parallel or 800 V in series, so the cyber truck can charge at the current Tesla chargers. When they have there 1000 volt, V4 chargers available, it will be...

FEATURE Introducing RangeXChange V2V charging for Lucid

The inverter you specified can output a maximum of 300W. Lucid's 12V@20A would max out at 240W. If you keep your loads well below 240W, the item you described would work. They have a 40A fuse on that inverter, but the 20A fuse on the Lucid would blow first.

Somewhat off topic, but does anyone know if we can get the lower intensity “bulb" retrofitted in our DE?

    Wonky Waze Activity

Here is one of many links on the internet where this is discussed. In general, CarPlay will use the car's GPS antenna, but will revert to the iPhone's GPS antenna, if the car's GPS antenna does not work reliably: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6456259

    Wonky Waze Activity

You didn't mention if you are using CarPlay, but according to information in another thread, when using CarPlay, the car's GPS is used instead of the phone's – for exactly the reason you described. Based on your comment above, it seems you are not using CarPlay and running the apps directly on...

    QUESTION Thanksgiving. Busy travel days.

Just a head's up for those trying to drive to/from AZ to CA on I10. The EA chargers at Quartzsite, AZ, according to the EA app, are all in use with one charger out of service for maintenance. It's been that way all day. This is a critical EA charging location, especially for cars with lower range.

Yes, I just posted this a few seconds after you (and deleted it). Early December is not too far away.
