    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I have been trying to find the cause of this. Did you have wi-fi off? How many signal bars do you have? My wi-fi has been off for over a week and I have not had the problem repeat yet. Our AT&T cellular signal here is 1-2 bars most of the time, as shown on the car.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

No, I did not have service come out. I want to accumulate more major things (if any develop) to make their trip into the Lucid boonies more efficient. Meanwhile, the 2 button plus brake reboot (plus wi-fi off) seems to have worked for now.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I'm still trackinng my experience. I have turned off my wi-fi. Our AT&T signal here varies from 1 to (rarely) 3 bars. It still seems to work after last reboot a week ago. Try turning off your wi-fi, note your signal strength, and report back.

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Status Report March 19, 2025. Its still working. I did some more research and discovered that the Sirius service is called 360L and is provided on AT&T's wireless network via an internet modem in the car. It first appeared on the Dodge RAM. If you go to their equivalent of our Forum, you...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Latest Findings: March 15, 2025 Sirius Radio played on my drive home, and when I pulled into my home garage with wi-fi on. Next morning (3/16/25) it said no or slow internet and would not play when I drove away, nor my entire drive. I did not reset it since I wanted to see what would happen...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I agree. It is a very, very, very long shot. But I have seen cell cut off elsewhere in areas of very, very high peak demand. But it would come back after the peak. I will keep digging

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Lucken: True - I have had known spots of a quarter mile or less with service interruptions. The service always comes back when I pass them. But, what I'm experiencing now is sudden permanent failure over many miles and many days, where it has worked in the past. This has happened twice now. I...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

I have been digging: Thus far I learned that AT&T is the wireless carrier providing the connectivity. I also tried other suggested methods, (other than rebooting) to try to restore. That included turning off wi-fi, switching to Spotify, changing stations. None worked to bring back Sirius...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

DennisIS: Thanks very much - that is useful! I turned off my wi-fi and will see what happens on my next drive. All: Do you have this issue on any wireless internet based channel other than Sirius/XM?

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

Has anyone noticed a pattern? For example, do troubles occur at switch between home wi-fi internet and cellular internet when leaving home? Does turning off wi-fi make it more reliable? We need to help Lucid fix this. P.S. - I just looked at the car sticker for my 2025 Pure. I was definetly...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

It is intereting to see the poor (and frequently failing) decisons made by Lucid: 1 - Stylish key fod without buttons, and an inadaquate battery, instead of what you would find on a $25 K Hyundi. 2 - Internet Cellular Sirius radio instead of the Satelitte based shark fin antenna radio you...

    SiriusXM requires frequent reboots: normal?

This is the second time in 2 weeks my Sirius radio stopped playing. The first time I did the 2 button plus pedal reboot. A few minutes later it started to work Yesterday, it worked when I pulled into my garage. Next morning (3/16/25) it said no or slow internet and would not play when I drove...

I'm in SC and hit that barrier also. I decided to buy.

    Lucid is a Lemon?

Beware of Duracell batteries. In light use, the negative terminal will corode or leak. I also have had fob probelms, mainly short battery life. But also, the functionality of the fob, without specific buttons, is behind even a rent a wreck Hyundi. To solve the short life problem, I have...

    Trouble Statistics?

Borski: Thanks very much!!! The fact that Lucid will remote diagnose is a great feature!! I am no advertising guru, but i think that Lucid needs to up its PR, including this. P.S. - I note that Hyundi is having recalls due to their version of the Wunderbox. Thanks again, Steve

    Trouble Statistics?

I wonder if there are statistics available for the kinds of problems owners are having (perhaps by year of car). I got this idea from reading about the Consumer's 7% reliability rating. For example, from reading this forum, there were a bunch of issues in early models that are now pretty well...
