High voltage components cost way more though it provides much better efficiency. It's not surprising that for low cost, they would want to pursue power voltage.

This has already been done on the Porsche Taycan and basically every laptop with USB-c charging, the charge starting has to be initiated anyways via a handshake.
I think the vehicle will likely only allow for one handshake at a time so even if something like the charge port door is left open or...
For long drives, ventilated seats have become a must have for me, especially since I typically am listening to audiobooks in the car almost exclusively like yourself
