    Best reactions to your Air

Interesting reaction to mine at a parking garage in NYC: “Red Lexus” …!!!

You don’t see these every day

For those who, like me, enjoy most automotive curiosities: here’s a trio of Ineos Grenadiers I spotted on the NJ turnpike yesterday. Didn’t realise they were over here.

Time for something fun: a car memory test

At the risk of turning this into yet another Porsche appreciation thread, I feel very much the same about my 968. It's not quick but you drive it.

Post your mi/kWh efficiency in inclement weather

Not sure about mi/kWh but I drove 320 miles from DC to New Haven on Thursday afternoon / evening. Temperature in the 40s and 30s. Left at 100%, arrived at 8%. Three of us in the car, HA set to 82 when traffic allowed. Realised before the drive home yesterday that tires were on the low side at...

First time free juice at the mall with Volta

Volta is great. I’ve used them a few times in MA at movie theaters and the like. I assume the ad revenue pays for the power? I firmly believe ubiquitous L2 charging is just as important as DCFC.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

My first “in the wild” DE yesterday - black one on FL players at Electrify America, Stratford Square CT. Chatted briefly to pass the time since there was a line for the working chargers.

So you might be able to keep it?

    Fitting a Bike

I wouldn't call it 'specialty' - just a homebrew gravel bike I built up from a W.A.R. Evader GS frame. My wife's Felt Verza fits fine, too, and it has slightly wider bars than mine.

    Fitting a Bike

Er … maybe it depends on the bike, but mine fits through the trunk opening no problem

    Fitting a Bike

Yes you can. As @suchluke says, removing the front wheel is advisable but not essential. And the sub-trunk is very helpful. You can even get two in at a pinch. But as soon as the revised roof bars are available I’m getting them.

Time for something fun: a car memory test

Absolutely. The Air is bigger than I need - if I could get the same engineering magic in a smaller package I’d jump at it

    2022 vs 2023 Grand Touring

For the phone, I’m assuming, not the car 🙃

Why does EA shows price per min and keep rolling?

Interesting. What does your phone app show under charging history?

Anyone know how to bias a parallel Auto Park?

Can’t you just scooch it forward or backward a bit once it’s finished parking?

    Post/share your non-Lucid other car(s)! (ICE-appreciation thread?)

Saw one of those just outside of New Haven today. Looked fantastic.

Time for something fun: a car memory test

Ooo this is a fun one. Also makes me feel old ... 1974 VW Beetle, Marino Yellow. Bought in 1994. Built a 1600cc Weber-carbed motor in my parents' garage one Christmas 1990 Peugeot 405 GR. Because parenthood 1993 Ford Mondeo. Ditto 1974 Saab 99LE Auto, found in a field (and here begins...

    Warranty on Used Lucid

On (2), if you're buying privately ask the owner to show you the "Service Summary" screen in the Lucid Charging Service part of the app. The start date for the charging service should also be the car's in-service date for warranty purposes. If buying from a dealer I'd hope Lucid would confirm...

Water damage in trunk due to spill

With respect, @hydbob, I think these issues are different. As posted in a separate thread, I have suspected water issues in my trunk. In my case I didn't spill anything, the only potential "crime" would be opening the trunk briefly while it was snowing. So while I don't agree with the OP's...

FEATURE Introducing RangeXChange V2V charging for Lucid

Sorry to be a pedant - you need a J1772 - NACS adapter, not CCS - NACS :) I tried my v2v yesterday with this J1772 - NEMA adapter. Didn't work - the 'LUCID' logo on the (new) mobile connector glowed red which presumably indicates some level of discontent. So the adapter will be going back...
