Well the main thing about DCFC (IMHO) is this: is there one nearby when you need juice?

I installed a smoke detector above my charger in the garage so I would know if something was going bad down there. I mean, that's where all my most flammable stuff is. But I don't see a lot of people mentioning it when talking about installing charger.

If I need to get home and have no other options, 50kW charging is just fine.

At the very least, hearing about these shady practices allows us to better defend ourselves when it is time to turn our cars in.

The wheel covers are coming off as soon as the center caps/lug covers arrive.

You guys need to go back to talking about the Air. All this Gravity stuff is boring.

It's not worthless to me. I live in an area where there are a ton of Superchargers and way fewer EA/Chargepoint/MB/RAN etc. Of course now I have a car with 500 miles of range, so that takes the pressure off.

1. I have a Chargepoint HomeFlex. It is a nice charger, but after owning it for 3-1/2 years, I've found I never use any of the advanced features. My unit did die a couple weeks out of warranty, and CP replaced it free of charge. If I had it to do over again, I would get a simpler, cheaper...

I think my car's locking system is very similar to my wife. One's chances for success have a lot to do with how you approach it, and just because one approach worked last time, that doesn't mean it will work the next time.
