I'm curious as well. The lease on my 2022 matures this December and I am likely going to get another. My preference is to have DD Pro. Curious when 2026s will be available. If ChatGPT is to be believed, 2025s weren't available until spring of this year?
I’d like to say thank you to Chuy, a Lucid tech in Dallas, for consistently amazing customer service. Sewell auto dealerships are an institution in this city, known for decades for their top-rate service. Chuy and the Lucid team best even Sewell, which speaks volumes.
Shakira, a Lucid phone...
New one being installed tomorrow. But, again, they looked over the tire and there was not another nail nor was the first patch failing (per NTB). They were not pushing me to get a new tire, either, so this wasn’t to drive a sale.
One of my tires (21”) has been losing air. NTB found a nail and patched. Two days later losing air again. NTB showed me the tire and said other than bubble it is intact and they don’t know why it’s losing air. I’m replacing it, but curious if anyone has an explanation as to why it would be...
Lucid Financial Services finally reversed the tax. They didn’t admit an error despite telling me repeatedly that the tax was correct and owed. They have yet to confirm my affidavit for 2024 is properly uploaded. More time to waste on the phone but at least 2023 is taken care of.
The saga continues. The Dallas County Appraisal District confirms that a leased vehicle used for personal reasons is not subject to property tax. They suggested I speak to the Tax Department at LFS. Multiple calls to LFS requesting their records of when they submitted my affidavit (form 50-285)...
Over a week later and LFS still hasn’t gotten me a new affidavit. I asked for it to be emailed and the rep said “if we can do that, it should arrive within 3 days, if not, we’ll mail it.”
They are rather clueless, unfortunately. Definitely makes leasing with Lucid a frustrating experience. It...
I’ve spent about thirty minutes on the phone with LFS. Still no firm resolution but they admit it’s an error. They don’t have my notarized affidavit from this year which was sent in about two months ago. First a rep told me she couldn’t access that info at all. Then later she said she could and...
The adjusted capitalized cost of my vehicle was approximately $134,500. Making the tax approximately $8409. Due at time of signing was $8322.
(Thank you for your help - I am very appreciative.)
Yes. Randomly with my most recent monthly statement there was an additional $2500 listed as a “fee”. I had to call to get an explanation and was told it was an “excise tax”.
In the lease is a section labeled “estimated official fees and taxes you must pay during the lease.”
The amount listed, save for approximately $170, was due and paid at time of lease signing.
Hi-
I have a 2022 Grand Touring on which I have been making regular lease payments in Texas since I acquired the vehicle in December of 2022. I was surprised to see an additional fee of approximately $2500 show up on my most recent statement (February 2024). I called in and was told this is for...
What was your outcome? They replaced the hood? Sadly my Lucid Air GT was damaged tonight in a storm. Dime-sized dents on hood. Couldn’t see any on the trunk upper panel but I’m sure there have to be some. The black window trim had a dent as well.
I submitted a claim to USAA.
I placed mine behind the driver’s visor. I use it to access two separate properties. It always works for one, while for another I have to reverse a time or two to get it to pick up and open the gate. My preference is for it to be hidden from view inside the cabin which is why I selected that...
I went to Xpel Dallas based on the recommendations here. It was a fantastic experience and I recommend the shop wholeheartedly. Thank you to those who gave the recommendations.
The mobile key in terms of its reliability is supremely frustrating to me. It’s Murphy’s law, as when I approach to take my other vehicle (parked adjacent and which doesn’t have any mobile key component), the Lucid invariably opens up. If I’m not planning to take the other car, half the time it...
