I'm not familiar with other luxury cars but do those key fobs allow proximity sensor where the car locks or unlocks depending how close or far the fob is?
Update: opening the app, which wakes up the car, turns on the center console USB which effectively turns on the dash cam. I dont know how long the car stays on this way
I will be starting my new job this Monday. Woohoo! Significant pay cut but it's more in line with what I want to do career-wise.
The salary isn't what I hoped it to be and would've triggered me to seriously consider selling my Lucid. Alas, I'm keeping the car because the recent promo has...
Thanks for the update! I didn't wanna close my phone and think that a small damage would cost so much because I'm gonna start having anxiety driving my Lucid
Great! So that's one way to turn on dash cam while parked.
On a side note, I'm getting a USB C to 12v female lighter converter so I wont have to run wires all the way to the back of the car.
I did buy yesterday and will install today. The cam on my mazda was stolen so I need another anyway.
But also I didn't expect it would take this long for Lucid to add this feature
@des16 youre getting free DDP and SSP but not free AWD?
I wonder how long this promo would last. For the AWD free upgrade theyre probably just clearing inventory. The DDP and SSP seems more of a long term promo
I would be pissed and cancel too if I reserved AWD but won't getting the discounts while RWD buyers get it. Sure car is great but not worth carrying that feeling of unfairness so I understand @des16
Try showing them the invoice that was posted here with the RWD? I haven't checked if it shows...
Haven't used EA charging for maybe 5 months now. They've been unreliable and sounds like it's even worse now. Will do a trip to Santa Barbara from Sacramento maybe later this month. I'm going to have to triple check that the EA chargers will be working on the way.
