Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Understood and apologies for coming off harsh there. I’ve just seen a lot of posts around (not here) recently of people who think betas are like hot backstage passes to show off, complaining that things break. I mistook this for that. Carry on.

A good way to check battery health?

👋 Yes, hi! Share away. It's public info. I'd suggest sharing much longer term data from sources like this though: https://www.nimblefins.co.uk/study-real-life-tesla-battery-deterioration After all, Airs are only about 4 years old at most.

Charging Speeds on Lucid Air Touring

Last time I recorded an EA session: https://lucidowners.com/threads/charging-curve-logs-post-2-1-52.8093/page-4#post-199020 This was a while ago, there have supposedly been some improvements to the charging curve since but I don't fast charge often. 125kW at 50%, and didn't drop below 100kW...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

We've reached the point where it's reasonable to ask Customer Care to push it to you. Rollouts aren't this slow, but if it fails to push to you for some reason you may have to ask.

Heads up with iOS 26 beta 3, breaks the app

Don't use a developer beta on your personal phone, they're for developers to use on their development phones or emulators...

    Inconsistent regen?

Wait, you mean those settings are actually disappearing from the pilot panel? I basically never change those so I'm not sure if it's changed in a recent update, but that sounds very weird. Haven't heard anything like that before.

    Tips to Increase mi/kWh??

Stopping doesn't improve your efficiency, that's not physically possible. Stopping with regen braking is more efficient than stopping with friction brakes, but it's not more efficient than not stopping at all (assuming you accelerate again after stopping), because except in a perfect vacuum with...

    Tips to Increase mi/kWh??

Depends on a lot of things as usual, I guess. I think most of us see lower efficiency (compared to up to about 75 mph on the highway) in city driving due to all the stopping and starting. I would've thought your heavier GT would be even worse in the city than my Touring. Also as you said ACC...

    Tips to Increase mi/kWh??

This is the wrong part here. Don't try to predict road trip range from non-road trip range. Local driving efficiency is much lower than long distance highway efficiency. I personally average in the low 3s as well, but easily see 4.0+ on a long drive.

High Voltage Interlock (HVIL) Loop Open Fault

The HVIL is kind of like a circuit breaker. Anything weird happens on the HV circuit, it lets the other computers know. It doesn't immediately cut power like a circuit breaker in case you're on the road, but an HVIL fault usually triggers turtle mode or prevents you from driving again. It's not...

    Miles/Kwh

As far as I know what isn't counted in trip data is energy used while not moving. It does still count A/C usage and other peripherals, just not while parked. "Since last charge" includes everything, which is why you can watch it drop if you're pre-conditioning (A/C) your car before a drive. I...

Lucid Earth (midsize crossover): ready by summer 2027?

They don't. The car doesn't exist yet, so it doesn't have an efficiency rating. However, Air Pure has been EPA rated at 5.0 mi/kWh and a lighter weight midsize sedan in particular should perform better. Lucid has stated that a goal for the Midsize project is to reach 6.0 mi/kWh. But do keep in...

    Setting for naming the car?

It just moved in the new version of the app. It's now in the car tab under Vehicle Info > Edit.

    iOS app charging verification issue

There are many other threads about this, but yes. Even in my Touring, which has a lower max charge rate, I've seen 270kW briefly. It depends on your state of charge, how much you've preconditioned, and whether you're at a "balanced" 350 sharing the power with somebody else - these are labeled in...

    iOS app charging verification issue

I've never heard of such a thing. It should still be plug and play. If all you're doing is choosing the station/stand number in your Lucid app it sounds like your account/payment info is set up, but something is broken with plug and play. It's been a while since I heard of any problems with...

    iOS app charging verification issue

Are you saying you have no issue charging the same car? I don’t understand how a phone is involved here. If you’re using the Lucid charging plan, your car should auth to EA and EA should auth to Lucid. No phone involved unless that doesn’t work. Can you describe what’s happening in more detail?

Lucid Earth (midsize crossover): ready by summer 2027?

I'd think that would be a good time estimate for availability of the highest trim(s) which will not be around 50k, if the previous lineups are anything to go by. Judging by Air, the Pure equivalents may be in 2028.

What's your internal temp high score?

I have the windshield and overhead sunshades, but still got up to 140° a couple days ago. I experimented with leaving Climate Keep on to moderate it, but that had the battery conditioning system going full blast as well so it chewed through the battery too quickly. I also considered leaving some...

    Home Assistant Automations

The current "all windows" control in HA will only open the windows "a bit." The control Lucid exposes for that is weird, they only have "a bit." You keep asking it to roll down the windows "a bit" repeatedly if you want them all the way down. That's pretty awkward to represent in HA, and I...
