Tired of lack of Android support

I think the Android support argument is a great one if it wasn't already widely available on most car platforms for years now, if it wasn't advertised as a Lucid feature 2.5 years ago, and wasn't currently used by ~45% of the US market (70% in EU). I get that the current Lucid owner base has...

Tired of lack of Android support

Agreed. I just don't have the underlying empathy conveyed in the responses, as if this is the first time an auto mfg has implemented AA. If this was indeed the first car mfg to implement I'd be much more understanding, but after spending 2 weeks driving yet another low cost rental with AA, in...

Out Of Spec Lucid Air ADAS Review--Not great, Bob.

I like the incremental improvements they've made to HA for longer stretches of highway that aren't too curvy. On the other hand I continue to be surprised at how poorly it handles when there are smaller dotted lines on one side of the road for an exit as the car will start to steer towards the...

Tired of lack of Android support

Of course they're separate issues, but I disagree that conflating them is a mistake or seen as not a reasonable take. I also didn't write that Lucid said they are choosing not to prioritize, I just wrote that they aren't prioritizing. No AA after being a listed as a feature when I purchased 2...

Tired of lack of Android support

I'm really getting tired of the lack of Android support by Lucid, whether it be no Android Auto or the new app experiences being released for iOS only with Android coming "in early 2025" with no date specified. When is early...Jan? Feb? March? April? Is this the same timing as AA being available...

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

Two recent issues this week on my '23 Touring. 1.) On the highway I was using adaptive cruise and after disengaging it wouldn't allow me to re-engage...it just stayed greyed out on the screen & wouldn't let me cancel it or switch to highway assist. 2.) For the first time ever I couldn't wake the...

    Traffic jam assist?

Aren't we supposed to have traffic jam assist when highway assist is activated?

Any way to stop the "For the best mobile key experience..." notification for on Android app?

Yeah, I think I'm a bit of an anomaly as I can't stand having apps running in the background so I close them...not force stop but just so they're not in the active apps background screen. Mobile key works great for me without the app running so I only use the app in the winter to heat the car...

Any way to stop the "For the best mobile key experience..." notification for on Android app?

The "For the best mobile key experience keep the Lucid app open" notification goes off every time I close the Lucid app on Android app & it drives me nuts. I don't see a way to prevent only this notification from popping up. Anyone been able to do so? I don't want to turn off other alerts.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

I've been occasionally receiving a "driver's door open" alert on my Lucid app after parking, which I assumed to be an error, and then the other day as I approached the car I noticed that that driver's door handle was indeed in the open position while all other handles were closed. Anyone else...

Out of Spec 2025 GT long term review

I refuse to carry a fob unless I'm going somewhere where I may need to valet. My Samsung S22 never worked as a mobile key, but did allow me to reliably unlock via the app (even though it worked perfectly with my Tesla). Fortunately, ever since I switched to a newer Samsung S24 mobile key has...

    Interior temperature control

I prefer to be able to see the temperature at all times...can't exactly say why, but there's a reason most cars have this always available for reference

2025 Air Touring or should I go up to GT?

I'd base it on how much range you need. Touring states 400 miles, but it's realistically 300, and if you're on a road trip you'll likely only charge to 80% which means you're probably going 240 miles before needing to charge. If you don't need the range, Touring + massage seats is the hero spec.

    Lucid Touring Observation

Has anyone seen a structured 70 mph test for the Touring? I've seen several for the GT but can't find one for the Touring anywhere.

Curb rash - 4th day of ownership on 20 inch wheels

360 cameras and my wheels look like I went offroading at Moab 😂 Technology only works if I'd actually pay attention. I keep telling myself to let them get worse before fixing but after 2 years I think this spring will be my deadline.

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

Waking the car via the app now working well from 2k miles away! I had tried toggling the wifi etc with no luck. Glad to see this was fixed via server but would have been good to know that they were actively troubleshooting it on Lucid's end to save me the hassle of trying to change settings...

    Gravity; SUV or Minivan

My hope is the more sleek design appeals to a wider family audience over the current trend of blocky SUV's. I think the biggest hurdle is introducing the GT version first in a market of high interest rates. I'd have led with Pure or Touring first to stay under or around $100k. All of the car...

    UX 2.5 OTA Update

Same issue here with waking the car from app. I've tried Wi-Fi on/off on phone & car (+ logo resets) but nothing seems to work. I also have had an issue since the prior update where auto lane change doesn't work & the button turns on/off every second so I've asked for a service visit to fix...
