    Steering wheel creaking

Same here... they replaced the steering wheel. Was quiet for 2 months. Started doing slight creeking. Not enough yet to complain. Have other squeaky noises that are creaking louder that i'm trying to solve.

    San Mateo service center

For those that use to the San Mateo service center, how far out was your appointment? I just booked my appointment and it's now 1 month 6 days. Also, they stated loaner vehicles are scarce. Were you guys able to get a loaner? If not, did they provide any alternative? Also, do you have a...

    RESOLVED Rear Deck Creaking Noise

Did you fight it? With no physical damage by an external factor, they won't cover it? Tesla had that issue before.

Lucid Air GT vs Tesla Model X Plaid

My wife has the Model X and her 2nd row bench seat is broken. Won't fold back up. Seems like a common issue. Almost $3k to replace.. been almost 4 months and they still can't get me a new seat. Even newer Model X owners say the issue isn't fixed. They just replace with the same defective seat...

Air Conditioning not cooling the car enough

Agree with this... I cycle from the front dash back to the front vents... sometimes two times before i feel the vents blow stronger. Hope this is a software bug they can fix.

    Insurance company claim experience.

It's why i hope Lucid hurries up to enable to dash cam. Have to install an aftermarket for now until they enable the feature. Seems StateFarm approaches accidents differently when claiming.

    Insurance company claim experience.

I had an accident where someone rear ended my AGT. I claimed via my own insurance (StateFarm) so they can chase after AllState to recover the money. Statefarm takes the estimate via the pictures you take. They will cut you a low ball check. BUT when you drop it off at the body shop, the body...

Does anyone else wish the side mirrors could tilt down when parallel parking?

The cameras are cool looking and help in some situations, but for close parking next to curbs or parking in a tight garage space, i don't trust it. I need those side mirrors.... especially when they tilt downwards. I hope they get this feature in soon before I do some damage to my own vehicle.

RESOLVED Frunk won’t open since cold weather started

Ugh.... Thanks!!! Frustrating! I'll give them another ring to schedule another appointment. Their corrections were: " replaced decklid struts and latch. Issue is intermittently present. Related to SW bug. Will be fixed in future update."

RESOLVED Frunk won’t open since cold weather started

I get that issue with the rear trunk... It opens 3 to 4 inches, stops. Press the button again goes up 3 to 4 inches and stops... Finally makes it to the top and then i push to close and it wont. Have to manually close it. They replaced the latch and claimed software bug. This is using the...

    RESOLVED Rear Deck Creaking Noise

Nope.. I don't think they care which company as long as you keep it within budget.

    RESOLVED Rear Deck Creaking Noise

Going to drop off my car next week. They told me to go rent a car with an allowance up to $100/day and will re-imburse. Has anyone had any trouble of them reimbursing? Would be nice if they coordinate it for you and be on Lucid's acct vs me pay and then ask for money back.

[Edmunds] TESTED: 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring Misses EPA Range by Nearly 80 Miles

Took a drive from San Jose to Oakland in the morning with 45 to 50 degree temps running on 19's.. Hit the normal stop/go traffic and some clear straightaway going 65mph to 75mph. Averaged the 80 mile roundtrip at 3.7 mi/kwh... Not too bad.... Btw... what is the recommended PSI for 19's? I'm...

Lucid Combined Home Charging System Installation tips!

Good advice.. the only reason I have it configured statically at the device is that i change AP's every 2-3 years. They either die on me, want better coverage, or faster speeds. Saves me trouble from needing to configure the AP to assign the addresses when the AP is changed over.

San Jose Lucid Approved Body shop

@AirDoll. I'll go over the online reviews for both and go from there. I know all shops may not be perfect, but want one that is more detailed oriented since the Lucid was not a small "investment".

San Jose Lucid Approved Body shop

@borski Thanks for your advice... I will probably go through my insurance to makes things simpler. Statefarm has been easy to work with in the past. Haven't worked with Allstate before.

Lucid Combined Home Charging System Installation tips!

If your LHCS is on your home network via WiFi, you shouldn't have a problem connecting it via your laptop or tablet since it is on the same network. I have it configured as a static address... So that I just enter in the IP address to access it.

San Jose Lucid Approved Body shop

Thanks @borski. Car is drivable and I don't mind waiting for the right shop who takes pride in their work. I'm not a big fan of Tesla's quality... But if Brooks work on Bentley and other higher end cars, I assume their customer base may be pickier, potentially providing a better quality work. I...
