Echo-ey is a good description. I also find the vocals on Atmos from the front speaker absolutely caustic. My wife said the same thing. Non- Atmos sounds pretty good, but Atmos, in my opinion, has been pretty much destroyed.

I don’t know if this is the cause of your issue, but do you have WiFi turned on ? I have found that turning off WiFi helps alleviate this problem.

Yeah, it’s way way over the top. It makes many tracks difficult to listen to. I find myself constantly trying to adjust the volume so that my ears and cerebral cortex don’t explode.

UX button excessive volume post 2.5 happened to me and many others, but I don’t get the impression that we had a meltdown over it. Literally took 30 seconds to fix it.

Thanks for reminding me of this! Yes, the tape was installed in September. The new sound is great, just a bit different , so naturally it may take a bit to really get accustomed to it. The volume increase is quite noticeable , as is the low end bass response. All good.😊😊😊

I did have this impression last evening when I first listened after the update. I did sense a bit of reduction in sound clarity. I was a bit overwhelmed by the new bass response ; perhaps it will just take some time to get accustomed to.
