    Wind Noise

In my case, there is a correlation between the windows on the right side of the car "poking out," generating excessive wind noise reaching ~65mph, vs the left side where they're poking out just a little bit, with considerably less wind noise. The tech who rode with me this morning heard it right...

    Dashcam Install - NJ

Totally fair, and there is no date or specific priority associated with the feature (in terms of public news). Just making sure you knew it was coming before implementing a relatively crude solution compared to what the final implementation would be. If you're in a hurry, it makes total sense.

    Dashcam Install - NJ

No clue, but before you move ahead with a traditional dashcam, I just wanted to make sure you were aware of the recent tech talk where it was revealed that dashcam-like functionality was part of the plan? The car has high quality cameras...it's really just a question of software, storage and...

Lucid Owner Experience Event Oct 26th

That's interesting, the one they had at the rally on Long Island last weekend allowed us to sit in the 2nd and 3rd row (I ended up in the first row somehow after asking some specific questions that were best answered up front, but I didn't touch anything, as requested). They also had the trunk...

    Window trim

Some more detail on this (mine is being fixed as we speak), they have metal clips which can/should be installed to hold the trim in place. My car didn't have any issues when I first go it, but the trim on the right rear window is substantially off. The left rear window exhibits the issue to a...

Lucid Support refusing to provide Support?

Email responses are slower, but they have responded to nearly every message I've sent. Text is super responsive. My mobile tech has offered to be a direct contact, he is awesome, but I'm reluctant to bypass direct channels. Since my advisor at KOP (Dana) is very responsive, I generally run...

This is why i have trouble with self-driving in general

I'd be quite happy with hands off on highways/freeways and would not bat an eyelid if it never went beyond that. That alone could be a great fatigue reducer as that is the bulk of where long trips are spent.

    deleting interim destination

well, that's embarrassing, I thought I had swiped and long held in every combination possible. Will take another look, thank you to both.

    deleting interim destination

Big fan of the stock nav, routinely set up multi-point trips. I am comfortable setting them up, and am able to drag-and-drop to resequence the points, but I haven't found a way to delete one of the items from the waypoint list. Anyone know if it's possible?

    Wind Noise

Same issue here, I have appt at KOP service center this Thursday, one month ago from the day I called. The wait times are stacking up. The wind noise from the FR and RR windows is substantial above 65mph.

    Fathom Blue 2025 AGT delivered!

This is somewhat advanced if you're brand new to the car, but... Learn the nav screen inside and out. Learn how the 'search' and 'manage trips' works. Learn how to handle multi-stop routes, and how to manipulate the order of the stops (drag and drop on the manage trips screen). If you're on a...

Lucid's Charging Curve, can it be improved via OTA update?

What the.... what manner of witchcraft is this? What sorta goat, chicken or unsuspecting Tesla owner would I need to sacrifice to make this happen?

Lucid's Charging Curve, can it be improved via OTA update?

if it helps, Lucid's view on this is to focus on "how many miles per minute can I add," and "how long will I need to charge so that I can reach my destination?" It's not always about the 20-80% number. Also, I'm sure they COULD adjust the curve to have much more aggressive charging rates up to...

    Long Island Lucid Owners

This is my recollection of conversations I had with staff at the event: - New to me but an easter egg that has been around for a long time, double click the image of the car on the lower panel and it blacks out the screen (a 'digital detox'). Tap anywhere to turn it on again. Nice option...

    Long Island Lucid Owners

Oh, that was you! I'm bummed I didn't say hello, I think I was standing next to you (near that same vehicle) at one point, possibly while you were speaking with Zach.

    Getting good numbers

Have been averaging 3.0kw/h ('22 GT with 21" factory tires) with varied driving conditions using stock pressures for just under 8000 miles, or less due to recent lower average temperatures, resulting in a 2-3 PSI drop across all tires below factory settings. Following conversations that took...

Lucid's Charging Curve, can it be improved via OTA update?

That is not an EA charging deficiency. Due to charging curve decisions, your Lucid isn't asking for 150kw up to 80% SoC. Beyond 50%, my recollection is that is' already < 150kw, and decreases in a more or less linear fashion, then even steeper after 80%.

Lucid's Charging Curve, can it be improved via OTA update?

I raised this with Zach at the NY owners rally and he laughed (I can see why), and said that it would be a first to go to the software group to ask for an option to deliberately slow down the fast charging. He knew what I was getting at, but it still drew a smile (which was nice since he...
