Getting grumpy over the lack of Android Auto support....

FEATURE Introducing RangeXChange V2V charging for Lucid

I would rather see V2X. I can't think of a realistic V2V scenario....? Been driving an EV for 13 years now. Never had a case of needing V2V.

Software Improvements Wanted- please weigh in!

The car needs a chill mode. I should be able to restrain myself, but I cannot. I have a few people dear to me who won't drive with me anymore. Bit of a story there, but it is what it is.

    Post/share your non-Lucid other car(s)! (ICE-appreciation thread?)

I'm now fully electric with my Air Touring and a Hyundai Ioniq 5. But I will share that my first EV was one I built myself in my garage with my then teen-aged son -- a 1999 Miata conversion. And my next EV (I hope) will be the Porsche e.Boxster (or what ever it will be called if/when it hits...

[SOLD] 3D Mats (Gray) for Grand Touring & Dream for sale SF Bay Area

Thanks! I too have the Santa Cruz interior -- a bit of a mistake on my part. Looks great, but I wouldn't do it over. I bought the Lucid mats essentially sight unseen when I picked up the car. Another regret... They look great, but especially for the passenger, just don't do the trick.

[SOLD] 3D Mats (Gray) for Grand Touring & Dream for sale SF Bay Area

Would you show us photos of your Tuxmats installed? I've been disappointed with the coverage of the Lucid mats. Need something better.

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

I wasn't expecting an answer, more of a rhetorical headscratcher. Off topic for this thread for sure, but another rhetorical headscratcher is why the firetruck doesn't the car come with a tire inflator and sealant?!?!?! I just assumed it was hiding in the trunk under the flap opposite of where...

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

Yeah, I knew it didn't have the satellite hardware, my question is "why?" Such a no brainer if you ask me. I've had Sirius in my cars since about the time we launched the first satellite in the late 90s. It works even when there is no cell connection. It's a small gripe, but it is one of my...

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

Yeah, Sirius connectivity is spotty. ALso on occasion it simply loss all my presets. I wonder why Lucid decided to stream Sirius. I worked on the satellite constellation of the fleet. It does work, so, why stream? So there isn't the shark fin antenna?

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

Truly fantastic news! I can't wait to try it.

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

Really? My experience has been quite different. Maybe this has improved in a recent software update?

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

My fix is to simply change the main display to show SOC as a %. Then if I have a destination in the Nav, the miles estimate is pretty good -- unless there is an elevation gain. Then it is driver beware.

Another bug list... are any of my one-offs being seen by others?

Ouch. Growing up, my family had a Cimarron with a vinyl roof and opera windows... ;)

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

If you want to be pedantic, I can do that. Wind speed, tire pressure, roof racks, if the car has been washed, if the widows are rolled down, if I'm listening the The Wall at 11, whatever you want to throw at the problem, save change in elevation, is going to be resolved by the current...

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

Before I retired, I was the program manager for a NASA spacecraft. And not only did I have an entire software team in my org, some of them work now at Lucid. I happen to know exactly what the situation is at Lucid. Not once did I say I could do it in an afternoon. I think you need to take...

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

No. Range is a key parameter of an EV. I cut them slack when their range estimate was a linear interpolation of the EPA rating based off the batteries current state of charge. But the moment they updated a range estimate to pass off as real, I stopped cutting them slack on this item. It's...

Suggestion to make it easier to deal with variable effective range

I'm also annoyed with the guess-o-meter in the main screen. And agree the estimate while using nav is pretty good. Why the difference? Jeeze peeps. THere should only be _one_ range estimate, not two. While I'm at it, here is a short coming of the nav's guess-o-meter. It isn't topography...

    RESOLVED Locked OUT of car

Yeah, I locked myself out of my car once at a DCFC station. Phone in the car, key in the car (cupholder) and I left the door open as I went to plug in. But I didn't leave the door open _enough_ and the soft close feature took over and finished the job for me. The "push handle" to unlock would...

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

You can come by my house in 94040.... Besides mine, I've seen two different ones on my street at different times. I've also seen them on the road in Palo Alto and the area. Definitely not like a Tesla, Taycan or Rivian though. Those are everywhere (especially Tesla).

    EA inconsistency question.

Thanks. Anywhere I can go to get more info? Interesting I haven't noticed this on my wife's I5.... I'm trying to think if the dash displays power like the Air does? Not sure now.
