Since Bobby's solution solved the wind noise problem, why is it the SCs just report it is "within normal specs" or that there is no solution available yet? Surely, they could just implement the protocol you describe. Are there any forum reports of any SC using this procedure to address driver...

While there appear to be some variance among and within trims, I believe Lucid does not presently have a permanent fix. They know it's more than a trivial concern to many owners (myself included), they just don't have a fix and have other priorities, I suspect.

Absolutely get the permit and a licensed electrician to do the work!!!

Great clarifications. I stand partially corrected! However, you can drive an ICE car with the emergency brake applied, albeit with a lot of resistance and eventual smell from burning the brake pads. You cannot drive an EV when in Park. But, then again, I am open for correction!

Nope. Shifting to P is like shifting to P in an ICE car, not Neutral with the manual emergency brake pressed. There is no emergency brake in the EV, since the entire "drive train" in the EV is locked electronically. In an ICE vehicle, the emergency brake is a mechanical pulling of the brake...

If you are stopped (without Creep or Roll engaged), the "Hold" indicator will conveys you are in an electronic brake mode requiring you to depress the accelerator peddle to move. If you do not move, the car will automatically "shift" to Park after a few minutes of inaction.
