Lucky you didn't suffer any damage to the wheel, given the impact force. If you experience any shimmy in the front end, check to confirm the wheel doesn't have an inside wobble that balancing won't offset.

Plugging into your friend's garage while you are traveling will underscore the benefits of a home charger (if you can install one eventually). Travel safely!

It is clear from posts here that the wind noise is NOT a systemic problem in all trims -- that's a good thing. However, for those of us who do experience it, it is a nuisance. But, not a deal breaker for me!
