I guess brand loyalty only lasts as long as the brand is loyal to the qualities that brought you in to the mix in the first place. When they start focus grouping or otherwise drifting off the premise and it doesn't align with my interests, then I'm moving on. It would seem weird to me to keep...
In my house a leased vehicle (and to some degree even a rental) is treated with similar care as the cars that I own. I wouldn't call my self an environmentalist but I don't like being wasteful and I try to be considerate of others. I don't own the Air, I'm simply the caretaker for 3 years, so...
The value proposition of "investing" in customers is long gone, and you can blame consumers for that. Best price research is what its all about and so manufacturers and retailers cut their human resource expenses in an effort to attract customers with low prices. It's this flaw in human nature...
^^^OP is talking about a rear view mirror, the kind you use at speed, not a back up or parking camera. Many cars offer an optional rear view mirror that is camera based and what you look at is a small oled screen rather than an actual mirror. From the outside and inside it looks exactly like a...
Could just be an over zealous inspector (may be new to the task?) and this will get sorted. But man alive this sort of "fine" at lease end would turn A LOT of people off of considering a Lucid product. This is like a cop giving you a ticket for 1mph over; technically a fine but its doing way...
Wow, that seems really petty. I too have no idea what is wrong with the visor. Hopefully this is just an isolated return story, but there should be plenty of data points coming on line soon (bubble of early lease returns).
We returned our Model 3 (without getting a new one) with at least...
What rebate details did you read about when ordering the mats? Did you research the recall or read the letter that was recently mailed out? There is definitely a recall, but the remedy is TBD. Also, the website clearly states the current mats that are for sale are only compatible with cars...
Santa Cruz interior is not for the faint of heart. I have OEM winter mats, Krud Kutter is my go to for cleaning the mats; spray, soak, hose off, air dray, really easy. Scotch Guard for the carpet mats, spray and wipe clean up.
Did you wave to each other? I did that the other day when passing an Air, lol.
It could just be a start up or some sort of contractor doing some mapping, self-driving, or similar testing.
Spicy indeed! Man alive that is a uuuge lease payment. Seems like Lucid use the residual value to manipulate the payments. It would appear patience would pay huge dividends, assuming the residuals migrate to the high end like the current Air leases.
Not a forensic investigator, but looks to me like the installer error. The heat source was right at the terminals and they admitted to not using the proper lugs. Shout out to this forum for creating a specialty knowledge base to make sure the charger is installed properly. Hopefully they...
I think what brought it into focus for me was the Jonny Lieberman/Motor Trend stories in 2021. I had heard about it prior, but wasn't paying attention really.
Copied from the release: "Lucid will reimburse owners for the original cost of the floor mats." Not sure if they will make a revised version that we have to buy, or what exactly the remedy will be.
I tried industrial velcro, stuck great on the floor side, but not the mat side. I've been...
That is wild. Doesn't strike me as an alignment issue as the wear is uniform across the entire tread. I think the drop in range/efficiency is a clue something else is going on.
I'm sure they are, and I'm sure they know what a proper fix would look like financially (recall or similar hardware update) and have decided to roll the dice like most OEM's do and fix it on future product and abandon the early adopters/early majority. I'm here for to Lucid to succeed so if I...
