    OTA Update 2.7.0

It's a setting within Google Maps on your phone. If you turn it on, the map appears as an overhead photographic view, as if from an airplane, rather than a simple line drawing.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I think the concern was about resetting the car without writing the log data first. Don't know if that changed. Others more knowledgeable may chime in to correct me.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

They're identical in function and both reboot only the infotainment system. The official method, right there in your owners' manual, is to use the steering wheel buttons.

    Drive System Fault Megathread

A month is too long. I'd give them another chance to do better - making it very clear that you're not happy.

Note that the A Better Route Planner phone app has the ability to route plan using your car's SOC and realtime efficiency, weather, elevation, etc, if you pay the modest monthly fee. It could be very useful for road trips. I haven't tried it with my Air yet.

Right. Few companies have implemented this so far.

    Android auto

Google Maps over Android Auto on the Air doesn't know anything about the car's SOC. It does not add charging stops. It can't initiate preconditioning. You can change your car type on your phone to "Electric" and "Lucid Air", but doing so doesn't do anything useful yet that I can tell. However...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I'm actually super-happy about the release notes. They've been great lately, very specific about bug fixes.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

YMMV, but I've never had an issue with an update that a infotainment reboot didn't fix.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

For that, look to a Polestar 3, EX90, Honda Prologue/Acura ZDX, Chevy Blazer, Cadillac Vistiq or Lyriq, Hummer EV, etc.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

You'll likely need to reboot the infotainment after receiving 2.7.0 to restart car audio and Android Auto. Use the steering wheel buttons reset as mentioned in the owners' manual, or the equivalent logo reset on the Settings-About screen.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Owners who didn't experience soft close issues will complain that this update doesn't give them anything new. Others, with soft close issues, will complain that Lucid took too long to fix it.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

A tiny bit more patience. Fleet rollout usually takes 1-2 weeks.

Yes, it's part of the problem to be solved.

OTA 2.7.0, containing Android Auto, hasn't rolled out to the general public just yet.

Mobile Key inaccurate location causing car to not unlock?

I have the same phone. I was thinking that "Allow all the time" was perhaps a side-door method to ensure that the Lucid app isn't shut down periodically by aOS. Don't know.

Lidar and radar are complementary to cameras. Each has unique strengths in a range of conditions. Lidar and radar can see in the dark, radar can see in heavy fog, etc. I'll take all three, as I place a high value on our safety. I'm not interested cheapest solution.

Minor suggestions for a car I’m loving so far

Sounds good. The Air uses AT&T for streaming media.
