    “Hey Lucid” is Trash

I'm wishing the engineering team Godspeed on this.

    “Hey Lucid” is Trash

It would be called poor even in the cheapest car, not yet suitable for a production vehicle.

    Sirius poor signal

Sirius obtains its "signal" in the Air from the car's cell connection, the same as Spotify. Maybe try logging out of Sirius, then back in?

    OTA Update 2.7.0

It's a kludge on the Air's screen, but a useful kludge.

    Android auto

While planning, I scrutinize every charging location ABRP suggests by using Plugshare.

Using ABRP for navigation with Android Auto

The Enode data link is included in ABRP Premium at $4.99/month. I just sign up for Premium in the days including the trip and a couple weeks before for planning. However, you have to provide your lucid login and password to Enode so that it can pull data from the car.

This "NACS Megathread" has lost its way.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Did you check the Vehicle Hold setting in your car's settings menu? It's rare, but I have heard of this setting being changed spontaneously by a software update.

Also keep in mind that the miracle battery range figures are usually quoted in WLTP miles or Chinese miles, which are very optimistic compared to EPA miles.

Have you checked to see if the Vehicle Hold setting is still set to Hold?

Android Auto in 2.7.0 - Initial Impressions

True, though when I asked "Hey Lucid" about tostones, I was amused that it volunteered that they are especially delicious. I'm looking forward to using Google's Gemini LLM in my Air.

Android Auto and access to Google and/or Alexa

Oh right, I forgot! Long Press = Google Assistant, short press = Lucid Assistant.

Android Auto and access to Google and/or Alexa

For me, on Android 16: When I say "OK Google" or "Hey Google" in the car, Google Assistant responds over the car's speakers. If I press the microphone button on the steering wheel, Lucid's own voice assistant responds over the car's speakers.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

No problems here, other than having to turn the cars bluetooth off and on (or reboot infotainment) to get AA to connect. Haven't tried it again after updating my phone to Android 16 last night.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

My 2.7.0 update was only about 2.8GB. It could be that you are seeing a maps update, or 2.7.0 + maps.

    LCHCS stuck at 12A

I agree, it sounds defective, if the internal cables are all plugged in properly.

    Software and Tech Opinions

The new version of the phone app, which should already be on your phone, fixed the always-awake issue. Car software OTA 2.7.0, rolling out now, fixed the delay with shifting into drive or reverse on startup. After a while you'll figure out how to make the mobile key work for you, or switch to...
